My Unity Photo lens does give the the correct rotation but any pictures in Files Folders lens are not rotated correctly. In Gnome 3.4.2 the thumbnails do not show the correct rotation, however when I open these files in Image Viewer 3.6.0 they are displayed with the correct rotation. Glslideshow in Xscreensaver also shows portrait pictures incorrectly in lanscape mode. The story continues.#58 it seemed to work, however after I inserted a DVD in the drive and tried to login with the LDAP-user, the problem occured again. Even logging in with a local (non-LDAP) user shows the same problem. Remark: after removing the DVD, restarting lightdm and a relogin, I saw the annoying kernel messages again. This time I/O . dev sr0. A gvfs problem? I am not sure what solved the problem in #58. Public bug reported: Hi, if I add a line like interface ignore all to /etc/ntp.conf in Ubuntu 10.04 and restart the ntp service, it will still listen on all interfaces. We have two ntp servers running in our environment, all other servers should just use ntp to synchronise time with them. Because of this bug we actually have several hundred ntp servers on our virtualized web servers. This seems to be fixed in 12.04. If I add the line there, ntp only listens on the localhost interface. The original problem occurrs on a current 12.04 LTS with awffull 3.8.2-2. After an 'apt-get install libgd2-xpm' awffull properly added text to the graphs when I ran it again (no other changes necessary for me). So I guess if someone fix the wrong dependency (after 4 years ;)) the issue would be resolved. Out if curiosity, which version of hpacucli are you guys using? Version? 32bit or 64bit? Running Precise, I see this problem on controllers using the old cciss driver (P400 for example), but not on controllers using the hpsa driver (P810 for example). This is with hpacucli 9.10 64bit.
