[Bug 1159314] Re: Ubuntu Unity completely gone after resetting in compizconfig.
Here's an easy way to see this bug: Log in as guest account, go to compizconfig, go to preferences, unity, click "Reset to Defaults". Notice instead of resetting defaults, it disabled even the base Unity plugin! This is a serious problem, right now I'm wondering if the problem s I'm having in the Unity prerelease are bugs or are misconfigured plugins because I reset it and didn't re-enable something. [Bug 1160700] [NEW] Intermittant hang during requiring reboot
Public bug reported: It seems to happen randomly and only when the computer has been left alone for a few minutes. The screen goes black for screensaver. I do not know if that initiates the problem or the attempted wake up. The end user result is that the system refuses to wake. Note that it is not and should not be in a proper sleep, just screensaver to black screen and locked. The keyboard backlight and power light indicate it is not sleeping but in the screensaver state as it should.
