[Bug 1094218] Re: lsb_release crashed with IOError in getstatusoutput(): [Errno 10] No child processes (called by teamviewerd)
Lian, the package of the proposed repository is OK. You can to make "pinning" — https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PinningHowto: 1) sudo touch /etc/apt/preferences.d/lucid-proposed-100 2) sudo chmod 755 /etc/apt/preferences.d/lucid-proposed-100 3) Edit the file with this content: Package: * Pin: release a=precise-proposed Pin-Priority: 100 4) Mark the "proposed" repository See this old picture: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu#Updates_Tab Read if prefer: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed 5) sudo apt-get update 6) Simulate: sudo apt-get upgrade -s 7) None? Then the "pinning" is OK. 8) sudo apt-get install lsb/precise-proposed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1094218 Title: lsb_release crashed with IOError in getstatusoutput(): [Errno 10] No child processes (called by teamviewerd) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lsb/+bug/1094218/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 438365] Re: erlang should not depend on wxwidgets2.8
It's disappointing that such decisions, well-meaning as they are, wind up breaking other pcakges that, even still, are available in repos. Software Center doesn't properly inform the user what is broken when they try to install such a package, only that there is a problem they need to fix. And when trying to install multiple packages, Software Center doesn't advise the user which package failed, an unfortunate situation for the average user. I hope the decision to remove this package is reconsidered, or at least completed so that Ubuntu isn't left in a broken state, however slight. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/438365 Title: erlang should not depend on wxwidgets2.8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/erlang/+bug/438365/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Osmo has one method, Orage another one, and so on : there is not one which is able to import AND export the data! Isn't that something? Thank you for your kind answer anyhow. Jeremy, thanks, I will look forward to trying it. Wouldn't you try to work on an address book as well? ^^ (pimlico-projects had a good start - http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/contacts - contacts, task, calender... - but was bought (by Intel I think?) and not continued since either :/ ) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1000265 Title: [needs-packaging] sunbird standalone is not available To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1000265/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1195822] Re: MacBook Air 6, 2 (mid2013) Touchpad is Non-Functional
I was not able to boot the 3.10-rc7 kernel -- the kernel wouldn't even start to boot (i.e. black screen after grub -- no activity). I was able to boot the mainline 3.9.8 kernel (from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.9.8-saucy/) and had the exact same results. I will mark as 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. The 3.10-rc7 issue is probably another bug I will need to report upstream as well. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1195822 Title: MacBook Air 6,2 (mid2013) Touchpad is Non-Functional To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1195822/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
