Hello,

I don't have exactly same problem, but I found some problems with xorg
when I switch user between openned sessions:

PROBLEM: I have session with 1600x1050 and switch to another user's
session that was previously set with same 1600x1050 resolution. But when
I switch to this session, the screen gets 1280x1024 and for some reason
the size of the session is very very wrong (it is bigger than the screen
resolution and I can't move or click most of the things so I have to
restart all Xorg).

WORKAROUND: Fortunately I have found some way to resolv it in a tricky way: 
Change resolution file name with your resolution file. 

1-Install get-edid command:  sudo apt-get install read-edid
2-Create a bin file with edid information: sudo get-edid  > 1600x1050.bin
3-Create a folder to store this file: sudo mkdir /lib/firmware/edid
4-Copy the file: sudo cp 1600x1050.bin 
4-Edit grub to edit linux command to load this file in kms: 
 -sudo editor /etc/default/grub
 -Edit line:  
RUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=edid/1600x1050.bin 
quiet" 
 Change your name.bin file. 
 -sudo update-grub
 5-Reboot and test. 

For some reason it worked for me very well.

I was looking for other bug report similar in launchpad, but still
looking for the correct one. I would like find a user with same problem
I had, because I think this problems affects many things in KMS (Kernel
mode switch), not just switching between user session, also games in
full screen with different resolution and others things.

It is very hard to find the correct way to report this issue, I would
like to have some help with some Xorg/Kernel team.

I think this could be fixed in some low level, but could be also fixed
with this kind of workaround in some easier way for users: For example
adding some script that test if edid is detected or not, and asking the
user if he liked to let script get the edid info and parse it to the
kernel command, then ask if it was working fine and if the user wants to
keep these settings.

I still haven't been able to reproduce this yet, but will try tomorrow.

Also, based on inspecting the code, this might be related to the delay

Dave Morley reported a couple of bugs today with mobile data connections
dropping after a few hours.   His testing was done with system image #70
on a maguro phone.  He also was running a test version of NetworkManager
( version: to-be-filled-in ) which had fixes to the mobile-data

apport-collect needed python-apport which needed to update the system.

apport-collect couldn't use chrome so I had to figure out how to make
firefox the default browser.

I couldn't tell what apport-collect was doing, nothing showed on

I have tested the backported driver and for about one week of using the
802.11N connection, it seems to have been working better. It
disconnected once or twice, but I could connect, which I could not do
before this driver. I cannot bet it is a perfect test, as I could only
use N connection for more than one week, but before this driver, it was
very common (maybe more than once daily) that I had to restart the
router, as it only worked when resetting the router.

Intel N-100 Wirless card, although I believe the problem occurs with
other wireless cards.

A wireless connection will have extremely unreliable speeds, and often
entirely drop connection for a period of time, which even a reboot
doesn't fix. However, when the N mode of the wireless card in disabled,
the wireless is steady and solid as a rock.

  Monitor configuration in saucy beta Lubuntu is set to turn off built in
  monitor and set external monitor to 1360 instead of default 1920
  (squint, hard to read read 1920x1080 on a 15.5" monitor).
  
  Save configuration.  Reboot, saved configuration is ignored and boots up
  with both monitors on, 1920x1080 instead of the configuration I saved,
  built in monitor off, 1360x768.
  
  I haven't had this problem with ubuntu saucy beta 1 can't test it with
  the latest saucy beta because ubiquity won't run (separate launchpad

  Monitor configuration in saucy beta Lubuntu is set to turn off built in
  monitor and set external monitor to 1360 instead of default 1920
  (squint, hard to read read 1920x1080 on a 15.5" monitor).

  with both monitors on, 1920x1080 instead of the configuration I saved,

Public bug reported:

I have about 350 contacts. I expand and collapse the list by clicking on
the section headers. Each time I collapse I scroll a bit then expand
again, then scroll then collapse again. After a few times the app
crashes, I've attached the core file.

Also, the performance seems slow again on expand/collapse. We fixed this
a while ago but seems it's regressed.

I'm not sure if it doesn't auto-mount due to clock skew or not, but as
SOON as the box is up, if I login and manually mount at as root, then it
works fine.   I do know once the machine is up & I login, the date/time
looks fine as well.

machine as root using ssh keys (no

ticket & cifs ticket.

Since it works when I try it as root AFTER system startup but not at statup,

I reinstalled Ubuntu 13.04 and this doesn't happen. The error, however,
is not in /etc/init.d/networking: I have compared the files before and
after and they are identical. The error must have been somewhere else.

Please can we find a fix for this issue, it was working perfectly fine for me a 
week or two ago!! now i cannot download anything.
Please!! i cannot afford a new card, is there anything i can do to attempt to 
be proactive? My wifi conncetion disconnects after a breif idle period, and 
only gets internet again after i disconnect and reconnect causing all downloads 
to malfunction and halt.

Marking this as incomplete for now until a few more details are filled
in.

1. Which build did you use?

2. Does this occur on maguro?  mako?   or both?

3. When the phone gets in this state, can you run the following commands
for me:

- 'list-modems'

- 'list-contexts'

- 'nmcli c'

- 'netstat -rn'

We have two other bugs entered today, one for the fact that if the phone
loses signal and detaches, it never re-attaches to GPRS ( bug ##1234434
) and one that concerns the routing table not always being setup
properly ( bug #1234364 ).
