[Bug 1207812] Re: Iphone with iOS 7 does not work on Ubuntu
Confirmed on Ubuntu 13.04 and iPad Retina with iOS 7.0.1. It seems that something is going on upstream in libimobiledevice to properly suport iOS 7 device trusting, see https://github.com/libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice/issues/20 for an issue discussion stating work is ongoing in a branch. [Bug 1236174] [NEW] Grub2 doesn't find it's config file after clean Kubuntu installation
Public bug reported: I've installed the latest Saucy Kubuntu image (amd64) on a new machine last friday. This is my first time with a efi system - and I don't have any experience with that. It seems the Kubuntu installer correctly added the Kubuntu boot entry to the efi boot manager. My system has 2 Harddisks, a SSD and a normal one. I boot from the SSD. I've chosen manual partitions: * the efi partition * a boot partition with ext2 * the root partition with btrfs after rebooting, i get into the grub-shell. after that, I need to type configfile (hd2,gpt2)/grub/grub.cfg and grub starts as normal. I'd prefer having grub finding it's config file by itself. I even don't know how to force this config file manually. [Bug 1236170] [NEW] grub install fails during install of Ubuntu Studio 13.10 Beta2 64bit on Asus EEEPC 1215B
Public bug reported: 1. What happened: An install of Ubuntu Studio 13.10 Beta-2 failed on a ASUS EEEPC 1215B netbook and I am mostly trusting the system to fill in the rest of the bug report. In case it does not the problem was in the grub install step. The system had a wired connection to the internet and downloaded updates before it failed. It also fails if the network connection is pulled. If it is started in "try it" mode a wifi configuration can be set up but the wifi configuration does not persist. The laptop previously had an Ubuntu Studio 12 as the only operating system. It has UEFI and the USB drive with the Ubuntu Studio 13.10 Beta 2 was booted in UEFI mode. The new Studio 13 was installed with "erase/replace". At the grub install failure I was given a modal dialogue by the installer there was a critical error and given some dialogue boxes to click through to report the error, and then asked to log in to launchpad. 2. What I expected to happen: I expected Ubuntu Studio to install normally. Also the system must have had some working grub in the MBR from the previous install of Ubuntu 12. [Bug 1221514] Re: Hot Keys and Abbreviations have Stopped Working
Again today, I upgraded from 13.04 to 13.10 and hot-keys and abbreviations are still not working in the beta of 13.10. I don't use autokey-qt anymore; I use autokey-gtk because it seems to have less bugs. [Bug 1160558] Re: AutoKey-QT Missing Indicator After Launched as Startup Application
Also, I should mention that I've just reinstalled 13.04 (today), and the indicator still does not appear. I've learned to live without it for months; at least my hotkeys work in 13.04. The reason I reinstalled 13.04 today, is because autokey-gtk doesn't work yet in 13.10 (that upgraded to early today). I initially upgraded from 13.04 to the alpha of 13.10, and I would have stayed on that alpha had autokey worked. I waited until today to upgrade from 13.04 to 13.10 again (this time beta), to see if somehow AutoKey was now fixed. But, since it wasn't, I had to reinstall 13.04. I can't tell you how much I appreciate seeing your activity on these 13.10 bugs. [Bug 1160558] Re: AutoKey-QT Missing Indicator After Launched as Startup Application
I can't remember 12.10 too well, but I can confirm that I have experienced the indicator "actually being there" as late as May of this year, in 13.04. For example, in the attached screen shot, you can see that the indicator was there in May of this year when I was running 13.04. To the left of the clock you can see an icon of the letter "A". That was what it looked like. At some point, during the course of running 13.04, it disappeared and has remained gone ever since. ** Attachment added: "Roulette2013-05-152013-05-15 04:51:19.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autokey/+bug/1160558/+attachment/3863567/+files/Roulette2013-05-152013-05-15%2004%3A51%3A19.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1160558 Title: AutoKey-QT Missing Indicator After Launched as Startup Application To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1160558/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Click on the play button, the error message will pop out again. And so is the last two lines in the terminal. 7. Drag and drop the "Wildlife.wmv" file into the playlist again, it make the second item in it. 8. Double click on the first "Wildlife.wmv" that is already on play, got no result. 9. [Bug 965280] Re: Thinkpad T420s - Ricoh e823 not working with SDHC cards (11.10 and 12.04)
Still happening on saucy (tried the live cd on a usb stick), as well as the latest mainline kernel build (3.12rc4). Let me know what I can do to help further debug this. This has been an issue since 11.10. The reader is a removable component from the laptop chassis.
