[Bug 1245119] [NEW] Need automatically re-shape partitions
Public bug reported: Mi sistema operativo a menudo se vuelve lento y se tilda. Intenté como solución reinstalar Ubuntu 11.04 junto a Ubuntu 13.10 para no perder los archivos almacenados en mi ordenador. El problema es que al comenzar la instalacion me pide (el instalador) que redimesione algunas particiones, lo que para alguien inexperto como yo es algo dificil de hacer, ya que no comprendo el lenguaje de programacion. Algo que estimno resolveria al menos este ultimo problema, seria que los tamaños de las particiones se definieran automáticamente segun el volumen de datos preexistentes, o bien, no tener un límite de tamaño mínimo. I think my issue is related to this bug. This is Ubuntu 12.04. Attached is what I get when I plug it in to the USB port. I get the same issue with Alsa mixer. Still broken for me. I enabled saucy-proposed, 'sudo apt-get update' and then 'sudo do-release-upgrade -p'. Same errors. Do I need to install packages from saucy-proposed before doing the 'do-release-upgrade'? Pl. advise. [Bug 1245106] [NEW] evince frequently freezes after upgrade to new version of Ubuntu
Public bug reported: Frequently use a few large PDF's for university reference. Before upgrade, evince displayed and searched these PDF's all day without hiccup. Now, after a few searches, or some scrolling, evince window goes monochrome, but no crash report happens. Window simply stops responding. Only method of fix is to hit close button on frame border, or kill the process.
