Re: [Cairo-dock-team] [Bug 1285984] Re: cairo-dock crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc_consolidate()
Hi, I took the updates after running "apt-get dist-upgrade" command in terminal after applying the updates. I was not able to view dock. So i exited from dock during exiting dock was crashed. Satish Kushawah On Tuesday, 4 March 2014 3:40 AM, Fabounet wrote: "Is it possible that now the icon is removed or partially unref'ed and then CD_APPLET_STOP is called?" well, the dock destroys the icons that belongs to a dock when this one is destroyed. so it's possible that the icons created by the applet are already destroyed before actually, it's quite possible since this applet is a plug-in (= has no icon, so no link to a dock). a solution is to register to the "destroy" notification on the icons created by the applet, and when the callback is called, remove it from its internal list of icons. (of course, the applet should take care of it when destroying the icons itself, for instance by removing it from the list before unrefing it). 2014-03-03 22:22 GMT+01:00 Matthieu Baerts : > Note: it's possible that this applet has more than on instance. > > -- > You received this bug notification because you are a member of Cairo- > Dock Devs, which is subscribed to cairo-dock-plug-ins in Ubuntu. > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1285984 > > Title: > cairo-dock crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc_consolidate() > > Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins: > Fix Committed > Status in “cairo-dock-plug-ins” package in Ubuntu: > In Progress > > Bug description: > After updating Ubuntu, cairo-dock is not working. [Bug 1288055] Re: Nvidia and Pulseaudio
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1288055 Title: Nvidia and Pulseaudio To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1288055/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1251568] Re: Can't select faces nor edges from objects
You should not post a bug report here for the PPA version of the freecad package. This channel is for the package available in the official Ubuntu repositories, and the FreeCAD project does not maintain it. For bugs related to the FreeCAD PPA package, please use the project's bug tracker: http://www.freecadweb.org/tracker/ Please also note that with the release of v0.14 a few months away, we will not fix the current stable PPA. I recommend you use the Daily PPA instead. ThierryM: we recently added a new PPA dependency to our freecad-daily PPA. It's now linked to a new OCE PPA. OCE is a third-party library used as the geometric modeling kernel, and the version in Ubuntu is hopelessly outdated. Please add the OCE PPA to your software sources to get the updates flowing again. https://launchpad.net/~freecad- maintainers/+archive/oce-release I will be asking for more storage space for the daily PPA so we can include the OCE packages in a single PPA. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1251568 Title: Can't select faces nor edges from objects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freecad/+bug/1251568/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This problem occurred when I first attempted to enable 'Additional Drivers' to enable use of the wireless card. The driver Broadcom Corporation: AirPort Extreme Using Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from bcmwl-kernel-source(proprietary) seems to have caused the problem. I have not been able to replicate the issue. Enabled and disabled the driver multiple times without replication of the problem. [Bug 1288046] [NEW] Sync armadillo 1:4.000.5+dfsg-1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main)
Public bug reported: >From upstream: "I've discovered a bug in Lapack 3.4, which affects all recent versions of Armadillo. I do not know whether the bug is present in other versions of Lapack. It seems that Octave and SciPy developers also ran into this bug. Specifically, the bug is in the API documentation for Lapack 3.4. It involves the specification of the size of the "rwork" array used by the zgesdd() function. If the documented size is used, the zgesdd() function can write past the end of the array, which will lead to a crash or unpredictable behaviour. I've modified Armadillo to work around this bug, by following the approach used by Octave and SciPy." Version 4.000.5 only adds bugfixes, when compared to version 4.000.4. In other words, the bugfix has been backported: http://sourceforge.net/projects/arma/files/armadillo-4.000.5.tar.gz I am aware that you are in a freeze, but the diff is minor, so please consider this, since it eliminates a serious bug. I've just uploaded armadillo to Debian, so it should be showing up soon.
