[Bug 1305135] Re: FFE: Provide ssh access to Qemu testbed for easier test debugging
Martin, how confident are you that this doesn't cause any exposure to users using the same process.. but potentially exposing the vm to a LAN or worse, public? There seems to be no clear warning that not just the stock default username is ubuntu, but with adt the password is now the same. I'm sure this is fine.. but as you can imagine, it would be wholly embarrasing if this did cause and exposure.. so can you confirm how this cannot happen? [Bug 1293299] Re: [FFe]upload ubuntu-kylin-software-center into archive
As the TB is converging on a consensus about the use of the new Ubuntu Kylin archive, I'm happy to grant an FFe for this as a new package. I have not done a full review of the source yet, but I noticed a few things when scanning the code: - backend/aptdaemon/dbus_service/apt_daemon.py adds an apt source for raring. This should certainly be updated to trusty for inclusion in 14.04. - the package uses dh_python2 and build-depends on python-dev. While we don't want to change this for 14.04, please note that python 2 is considered deprecated for Ubuntu at large and we encourage new software projects to use python3. - the archive listed in the source, http://archive.ubuntukylin.com/ubuntukylin, is not reachable for me. I don't know if that's expected, perhaps the server side is still in progress. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1293299 Title: [FFe]upload ubuntu-kylin-software-center into archive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntukylin/+bug/1293299/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1297710] Re: [FFe] upload ubuntukylin-keyring into archive
Hi folks, We have a rough consensus in the Technical Board about the way forward on this; thread starting here: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/technical- board/2014-April/001857.html This involves having the archive populated through Launchpad, signed with a key controlled by Canonical. I've worked with Canonical IS to generate the new key for this archive, which I'm attaching here. I have also prepared a new upload of the ubuntukylin-keyring package with this new key and have uploaded it to the Ubuntu archive. ** Attachment added: "pubkey.asc" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntukylin/+bug/1297710/+attachment/4078816/+files/pubkey.asc -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1297710 Title: [FFe] upload ubuntukylin-keyring into archive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntukylin/+bug/1297710/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

One thing I have not done, however, is modernized the debian/rules in this package... which seems to be derived directly from the ubuntu- keyring package and uses an entirely pre-debhelper debian/rules. [Bug 1194136] Re: Importing songs from network is slow since 13.04
Thanks dogmatic69 for this information. It would be good if you could test your issue with the development version of Ubuntu (14.04) that has a much newer version of Rhythmbox. [Bug 1305418] [NEW] Broken SSHD configuration on Ubuntu 13.10 with latest walinuxagent update
Public bug reported: After installing the latest walinuxagent package on Ubuntu 13.10 I see that we end up with a broken configuration in /etc/ssh/sshd_config. The last line in that file looks like the following: UsePAM yesClientAliveInterval 180 This is the result of the agent package re-running "waagent -setup," which wants to append the "ClientAliveInterval 180" parameter to /etc/ssh/sshd_config to avoid timeouts with the Azure load balancer (which has a 4 minute timeout). But currently waagent assumes there is a "\n" at the end of this file. We could fix this bug in the agent to always add "\n" to the front of this parameter (maybe a good idea) or there may be another way to fix this. ** Affects: walinuxagent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1305418 Title: Broken SSHD configuration on Ubuntu 13.10 with latest walinuxagent update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/+bug/1305418/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The only time my computer will suspend when Light Locker is off, is after a specified time of inactivity and only when on battery. Or when on battery and battery level reaches a certain percent. No other suspend options are used. But if I have LL on and I lock the screen, then immediately when closing the lid, the computer suspends. And frequently when this occurs, the screen is still blank after login. Manual locking does work. That is the only way I ever lock my computer in general. If it worked properly I would also have it lock on wake up after suspend. But that is the only two ways that I ever use locking. Hope this helps.
