Created attachment 101990 kernel log 3.15rc-Jun-27 This bug still exists in drm-nouveau-next (commit 242a42eadfc17448a0d5b2ffc0cb191c8b51971a) with Ubuntu 14.04 userspace. The error message has changed to E[ PFIFO][:01:00.0] INTR 0x0080, and some of the INTR 0x0100: 0x0005 warnings now come _after_ it. In Ubuntu 14.04 (not 13.10) with either this git kernel or its standard 3.13, there is also a hang on resume from suspend (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- nouveau/+bug/1333417), but it is not clear whether this is a driver or BIOS problem. [Bug 1325228] Re: light-locker mutes audio on lock, does not un-mute
It's annoying that this doesn't work anymore, but it's actually not due to something that light-locker is doing. It's due to the VT switch that happens when locking. So there's nothing we can do about it in light- locker. Maybe something in ConsoleKit or pulseaudio changed so that this doesn't work anymore. [Bug 1335824] [NEW] Evolution crashes on certain operations
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm starting a new bug because the previous one mentioning evolution was back in 2013 with an older version of mint. I am using evolution 3.10.4 on 64 bit Mint 17 with Mate desktop. My mail server is running Ubuntu Server 10.04 with Postfix and Dovecot with maildir. I have had crashes on two operations:- 1) when creating a new message folder on the server. Evolution crashes (stops responding). After rebooting the computer and restarting evolution, I find that the folder was created and all appears to be well again. This has happened multiple times. 2) when attempting to select a contact to edit. I have only seen this happen once. I typed in the contact search string and clicked return, which produced two possible contacts. When I double clicked on the one I needed to edit, evolution crashed. This was after evolution had been running for a couple of hours. [Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates
Disabling the unload is the best guess yet, although I do not know how and why the rest of the plugin can still work then. ;) But I can figure that out afterwards. (If anybody wants to help with that, please send me the blueman-applet output of when you successfully connect your audio device using the 1.23-git201406261335-deb version. The best place to discuss this is probably the upstream ticket: https://github.com/blueman- project/blueman/issues/64) @David: If you like I'll push the fix to Debian testing. [Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates
@David: If you like I'll push the fix to Debian testing. That's probably the cleanest way to also get it into Ubuntu, isn't it? Sounds like a plan, thanks! Not sure if we sync from Debian unstable or Debian testing these days, but I assume you upload the fix to both. That will bring it into utopic. After that we can SRU it into trusty. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283003 Title: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/blueman/+bug/1283003/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1336230] [NEW] core.worktree misinterpreted by Git GUI
Public bug reported: I have a super-repository tradr-simulation which contains several subfolders. I wanted to share some of the subfolders through another Git repository, so I created an external subrepository - the .git resides above tradr-simulation in the filesystem, and in its config I've set core.worktree to point to tradr-simulation (particularly worktree = ../../../tradr-ws/src/tradr-simulation ). Now here's what's shown in CLI (CWD is the external subrepo): -- D:\Programování\tradr-git\non-tradr-share\robot-modelgit log fatal: bad default revision 'HEAD' D:\Programování\tradr-git\non-tradr-share\robot-modelgit status On branch master Initial commit Untracked files: (use git add file... to include in what will be committed) .gitignore README gazebo-test/ nifti_robot_description/ nifti_robot_gazebo/ vrep_ugv_simulation/ nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use git add to track) - However, if I start Git GUI from the external subrepo, it is somehow misled to think I wanted it to show the super-repository. In the screenshot attached, you can see how Git GUI looks when called as: D:\Programování\tradr-git\non-tradr-share\robot-modelgit gui The window title as well as the Unstaged changes correspond to those of the super-repo, even though I started Git GUI from the external subrepo directory. ** Affects: git (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: Git GUI called from the external subrepo directory with wrong interpretation of core.worktree https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1336230/+attachment/4142967/+files/Clipboard01.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1336230 Title: core.worktree misinterpreted by Git GUI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git/+bug/1336230/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1325142] Re: failure to update libpam-systemd in 14.04 due to missing logind init script
Hi, first of all, I've got the same problem, but everytime when I was configuring my own live in chroot. Here is how I turned around the problem: in chroot I've stated not to upgrade libpam-systemd, to keep it back: echo libpam-systemd hold|dpkg --set-selections then I've dist-upgraded the distro without any error. To test it, Ive installed from that live dvd (an iso, actually) on a VM, and, once logged in the new VM, I've revoked my previous directive (as root): echo libpam-systemd install|dpkg --set-selections and finally dist-upgraded without any error. Hoping this could help. [Bug 1335795] Re: It does not suspend after upgrading to 14.04
Nisarg Jhaveri, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For example: kernel-fixed-upstream-3.16-rc3 This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. [Bug 279890] Re: Transmission crashes: corrupted double-linked list
I was running into a similar issue, but was able to resolve it with a less drastic approach. I ran strace on transmission-daemon and it showed a stat of a torrent .part file just before the SIGSEGV. I move the associated .resume file out of tranmission/resume and transmission- daemon started right up. I then requested a verify of that same torrent, just to make sure everything was good. The interesting part is that the final couple of stats in the strace returned ENOENT (No such file or directory). Hope this helps the next person. BTW, this was on a Ubuntu Server 10.04 box with transmission 1.93.
