[Bug 1307746] Re: pitivi crashed with SIGSEGV in __GI___pthread_mutex_lock()
As replied (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu- desktop/2014-October/004558.html), I don't see indications of upstream dropping maintenance of Pitivi, with a lot of activity in upstream code repository lately. They have also switched away from the problematic video sink that is apparently causing this crash. That said, this bug would definitely need fixing in 14.04. The crasher didn't exist at some point in January-February of 14.04 cycle, where I remember using pitivi 0.93 successfully. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1307746 Title: pitivi crashed with SIGSEGV in __GI___pthread_mutex_lock() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pitivi/+bug/1307746/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1273225] Re: php5enmod - priority is not set by argument
I don't know where php5enmod documentation can be found. Googling it brings up this bug report. After digging through the bash source, I found that the way to set the priority is to use a very specific format in the .ini file for the module. This is what Ondrej mentioned above, but for those who can't read shell script to easily, simply add a line to the ini file in the format: ; priority=99 That must be a semicolon, space, then the word priority, equals sign, then the desired priority number. This exact format is what the get_priority() function above is looking for. After adding that to the .ini file, simply run php5enmod with the module name as the only argument. ie: php5enmod tweaks More notes at http://www.brandonchecketts.com/archives/getting-ubuntu-14-04-php5enmod-to-understand-module-priority -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1273225 Title: php5enmod - priority is not set by argument To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1273225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 348522] Re: gvfsd-gphoto2 copies files to RAM (unsuitable for really large files)
I just copied a 1GB trusty live CD from my local computer to a davfs- mounted webdrive. Previously, this would trigger this bug but I no longer see it now, none of the gvfs-related processes were consuming more than 40MB. I still run trusty, I verified the upstream patch is indeed applied. So, yes, this is fixed. I believe you are seeing something else. [Bug 1377654] Re: [Dell Studio Desktop] Screen blank during log-in after suspend
I installed the newest kernel as instructed. 'uname -a' now gives: Linux chris-Studio-540 3.17.0-031700-generic #201410051635 SMP Sun Oct 5 20:36:18 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux But the error still happens. I also repeatedly got back in but then clicking onto the Ubuntu icons on the left did not do anything, did not do anything, and I pushed the power-button long for a restart. When the 'screen goes blank' I first get a "HDMI no signal" and then the blue light turns to orange (standby). I once heard the 'login-sound' (drums) and I again clicked the up-key and entered my password blind. Please let me know what I can test or send. [Bug 1336555] Re: ovs-vswitchd segfault every 2 days
** Description changed: - Hi I find that every 2 days or so I loose part of my cluster. + Hi I find that every 2 days or so I lose part of my cluster. It seems that openvswitch is crashing... The only message left on syslog is as follows: syslog:Jul 1 22:52:32 blue-compute kernel: [530482.190688] ovs- vswitchd[1935]: segfault at 0 ip 00459110 sp 7fff85804758 error 4 in ovs-vswitchd[40+133000] And this is the last message. I'm unable to reboot gracefully. I have to reset. (This can be because ceph not giving up also). And I can see a lot of traffic going around in the network. There so much traffic that some lowend routers/switches fail. Can be because another problem (machines stalled because the ovs fault and others trying to connect. Maybe it fails because much traffic). But I tell this for completeness. Now some info: Linux version 3.13.0-30-generic (buildd@allspice) (gcc version 4.8.2 (Ubuntu 4.8.2-19ubuntu1) ) #54-Ubu ntu SMP Mon Jun 9 22:45:01 UTC 2014 (Ubuntu 3.13.0-30.54-generic 3.13.11.2) - vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family: 16 model : 4 model name: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (server). - ovs-vsctl --version ovs-vsctl (Open vSwitch) 2.0.1 Compiled Feb 23 2014 14:42:32 I can attach full logs but I think there's nothing useful because only one line referring the problem. - NOTE: restarting ovs does not solve the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1336555 Title: ovs-vswitchd segfault every 2 days To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvswitch/+bug/1336555/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1325752] Re: All apps become mute when certain apps are opened.
Hi -- to repeat what Jus said in #13 -- the Mixxx desktop shortcut runs: $ pasuspender mixxx Mixxx itself does not suspend Pulse. This is a workaround because pulse does not support low-latency audio well and pulse also claims the user's audio devices. I presume Pulse has improved in the 4 years since we added this -- if it has we can remove this in our next release. A workaround for users affected by this: Run Mixxx from a terminal or by pressing Alt + F2 and typing mixxx in the box.
