Even though it is strange to see variants consisting mostly of VoidSymbols Hi, thank you very much. Yes, I would agree. The Baybayin script is alphasyllabry so it is always CV-CV, then other vowels are represented by use of a diacritical mark resulting to just 18 base glyphs only. Initially I did not include VoidSymbols but I noticed that if it is left empty, the system checks the next upper keyboard in the list and producing the character there first. 1: Latin = Key1234 produces A 2: Baybayin = Key1234 is empty If pressing Key1234 in Baybayin will produce the letter A from the Latin layout. I opted instead to hardcode VoidSymbols to avoid it. From what I understand, it was intentional? Anyway, I guess that's for another thread / ticket. Thank you again! Hello, I solved the problem. Actually, I do not know how so, in order to be useful to someone, I share the operations made: - I updated the BIOS of my Dell XPS 13 from A05 to A06 as suggested in #1426259. The following weeks I then verified that it worked most of the times. I traveled and, let me say that it worked with 8 different networks on 10; - For another reason (noise from the audio system), Dell changed my motherboard. Since then, the wifi works regularly but the BIOS is the previous one, A05. [Bug 1449632] [NEW] fatrace autopkgtests assume access to certain CPU registers
Public bug reported: While testing a newer implementation of the ubuntu proposed-migration test infrastructure, we discovered that the fatrace autopkgtest is depending on CPU registers that may not exist on the testbed. The existing infrastructure emulates an Intel core2duo, but the cpu architecture on the new infrastructure is a Xeon E312xx. The Xeon does not have the IDA (Intel Dynamic Acceleration) support which appears to be what supplies MSR 0xe8. The bug I am reporting is that the test should account for the possibility that the hardware support is not present and do something other then generate an error (possibly a skipped test). 'ida' support can be grepped from 'cat /proc/cpuinfo'. [Bug 1449631] [NEW] firewall-config does not run as root after authentication
Public bug reported: Launching firewall-config from dash asks user to authenticate and then launches normally, however, the process still runs as regular user and not as root. Changes are unable to be made from Options - change default zone of connections. The menu lists no connections. In the default zone, connections can be seen as sources. See Screenshot 1. Running sudo firewall-config from terminal does allow changes from Options - change default zone of connections. The menu does list connections. See Screenshot 2. Running ps -ef | grep firewall from terminal shows that the process, when run from dash and authenticated still runs as regular user. When run as sudo firewall-config the process does run as root. [Bug 1430694] Re: Update Facebook permissions to 2.0 API
** Description changed: The 1.0 API is being deprecated on April 30, 2015. + + [Impact] Depending on how facebook decides to handle the deprecation, + there's the possibility that creating facebook accounts from Ubuntu + Online Accounts will just stop working, if our OAuth request (which uses + deprecated parameters) gets declined. + + [Test case] Until the deprecation actually takes place, we won't be able to reproduce the bug. According to the Facebook official documentation, the v1.0 API will stop working on April 30th, 2015: + https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/changelog + + [Regression potential] Very low: the new Facebook v2.0 API is already + active, and we've been using it in Vivid without issues. A quick smoke + test (just create a Facebook account from the System Settings - Online + Accounts pane) is anyway advised, to be absolutely sure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1430694 Title: Update Facebook permissions to 2.0 API To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/account-plugins/+bug/1430694/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Martin, I just built ecryptfs-utils with your updated patch, and it seem solid, no issues found. It would be more helpful to test and post experiences about the packages in the proposed repository than to ask about ETA's or to tell people to hurry up. It's in the proposed repositories for a reason. This problem already got introduced, probably due to the lack of sufficient testing.
