[Bug 1362547] Re: Badge missing from "Updates" icon when updates are available
I just got confused by this too, when I noticed a "1" badge on the settings icon in the launcher. When I tap on the settings icon, it takes me to the settings app as expected, but there is absolutely no visual indication as to what the "1" badge is for. Whatever the badge(s) on the launcher icon apply to should also be shown in the settings app itself, with the badge on the relevant icon where I need to take action. [Bug 1457078] Re: L2TP client support for PSK removed from 15.04
There is a workaround to get l2tp-ipsec on 15.04 but its not very elegant. I uninstalled strongswan and installed an old openswan trusty .deb package. I then found .deb files of the old l2tp-ipsec-vpn and l2tp-ipsec-vpn- daemon from trusty by Werner Jaeger. I installed those and was able to connect. [Bug 1384243] Re: photos rotated in gallery do not display rotated in scope
I just tried this with the new thumbnailer, which isn't to blame. Basically, what's happening is that, after rotating the photo, the image file under ~/Pictures/com.ubuntu.camera is correctly re-writting, including its rotation information. If you look at the rotated photo with the gallery app, it is correctly shown with its new rotation, meaning that the thumbnailer correctly realised that the image was updated and generated a new thumbnail. However, the photo scope fails to realize that the image was touched. It looks like the photo scope does its own thumbnailing, but ignores the rotation data or some such. At any rate, this isn't a problem in the thumbnailer. ** Changed in: unity-scopes-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: thumbnailer Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1384243 Title: photos rotated in gallery do not display rotated in scope To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/savilerow/+bug/1384243/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1461738] [NEW] iwl3945 on X61T crashes with Error sending C_POWER_TBL: time out after 500ms
Public bug reported: After using wireless for some period of time, it stops working. dmesg report is attached. Rebooting the machine makes the wireless driver work again (for a little bit anyway). I haven't checked if it's related to suspend/resume, but I use this a lot. I can try bisecting for a kernel which doesn't have this problem, although between when I started having problems, I upgraded to Vivid (which didn't fix the problem.) [Bug 1447956] Re: Banshee interface unresponsive after upgrade to 15.04
Hello John, or anyone else affected, Accepted banshee into vivid-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/2.9.0+really2.6.2-2ubuntu5 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification .
