Expected: Starting with no open application: 1) Attach an external drive (usb pen for example) 2) Click on the external drive icon on the unity launcher to open Files (Nautilus) on the usb drive path 3) Open another app (a browser for example) 4) Click on the Files (Nautilus) icon to get it in focus What happens: Starting with no open application: 1) Attach an external drive (usb pen for example) 2) Click on the external drive icon on the unity launcher to open Files (Nautilus) on the usb drive path 3) Open another app (a browser for example) 4) Click on the Files (Nautilus) icon to get it in focus, but instead a NEW instance of Files (Nautilus) is opened (the default behaviour when Files (Nautilus) is closed and you open it first) Additional informations: If you have both a Nautilus window under ~, and another under the path of the external drive, when you click on the nautilus icon it behaves correctly and make you choose which of the two you want to focus. This doesn't happen if both windows are under an external drive (or partition) path, as in this case it opens a third Nautilus window instead (under ~). [Bug 1469476] Re: Mouse cursor issue
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1469476/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1447830] Re: Konsole using 100% of a single core after being closed.
This seems to be an upstream issue, as I am currently running Manjaro 0.8.13 64 bit KDE and I am running into the same exact problem with Konsole 15.04.0. Seemed to start up in the past few months and nearly killed my CPU a while back. I kept having my system auto shutdown on me when the processor got too hot from this pegging a single core. I ended up picking up a better cooler just to be safe, but finally figured out it was Konsole not shutting down properly which led me here while searching for a solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447830 Title: Konsole using 100% of a single core after being closed. [Bug 1469487] [NEW] localStorage takes a lot of time to save the values

[Bug 1469485] [NEW] Chromium triggers keychain unlock too late
Public bug reported: When you visit a login page for which you have saved the password, the browser does not auto fill the password. You have to enter it again. Once you have entered it, Chromium asks you to save it (even though it has been saved a thousand times before). When you choose to save it, Ubuntu asks you to unlock the keychain. After you unlock it, you don't have to manually enter saved passwords in the current session. This is extremely stupid and inconvenient - what's the point of saving passwords when you have to always enter it again plus enter the keychain password to log into accounts? Instead of not entering any password - you have to enter two passwords! Other browsers, like Firefox, don't work this way. Please remove the keychain unlock all together or trigger the unlock dialogue prior account password entry or on browser startup. [Bug 1468811] Re: headphone volume auto-set to loudest
I have no observed this on vivid+overlay, but I have been on wily+silo 038 recently and on a walk back from town I observed the 'random' increases of volume for short periods of time at the start of a new track. However I don't think this was related to notifications, as mobile data is broken on wily, and the wifi was not connected (but it was scanning for new hotspots constantly with buses going past that it could have connected to). As it appears to happen when a few seconds into a new song I feel it could be related to when the usermetrics are incremented (when 5s into a song). I'll continue monitoring my device to see if it can be made reproducibly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1468811 Title: headphone volume auto-set to loudest To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1468811/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
