[Bug 1403152] Re: unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count
We also backported [1] to 4.2 (linux-lts-wily) and deployed it to our production OpenStack cloud. We just installed it yesterday and our MTBF is between two and twenty days, so we won't know if this has made any difference for a while now. Some details about our configuration / failure mode: Three OpenStack "Layer 3" hosts (running 3.19.0-30-generic #34~14.04.1-Ubuntu) providing virtual routers/VPNs/Metadata via network namespaces. Our most recent failures occurred on hosts B and C (within 30 minutes of each other, after having been fine for weeks) while removing routers from A and re-creating them on B and C. [Bug 1526569] [NEW] [USB-Audio - USBStreamer, playback] No sound at all
Public bug reported: USBStreamer worked fine the first time I connected it to my Bodhi Linux computer 8 channels in, 8 channels out connected to a Yamaha 03d with the adat expansion card. Next day I tried again and nothing no input, no output. Alsamixer only recognize TWO controls: master playback and master capture, unmute master and check on capture did nothing. I decided to test with a windows computer and USBStreamer B works perfect so I did a fresh Ubuntu Mate 15.10 installation to my computer. Once I finished to install everything (JACK, etc) I plugged the USBStreamer B to the computer and It worked perfect 8 channels IN 8 channels OUT.. But next day the same thing NO SOUND IN-NO SOUND OUT. But now I unmuted alsamixer Master PLAY and checked CAPTURE and only got CAPTURE, NO PLAY. If I plug the USBStreamer B for the first time it works perfect, but after that It doesn't.. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. [Bug 1525008] Re: Ubuntu doesn't boot after laptop runs out of battery
Vadim Peretokin, as per http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5428311=8=4192 an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (1.33). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report. Once the BIOS is updated, if the problem is still reproducible: 1) Please provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date 2) Please make a comment specifically advising on if there was an improvement or not. 3) If the issue is still reproducible, please mark this report Status Confirmed. Otherwise, please mark this as Invalid. Thank you for your understanding. ** Tags added: bios-outdated-1.33 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1525008 Title: Ubuntu doesn't boot after laptop runs out of battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1525008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

(it will reset to 1) 3. ccsm -> general -> general options -> desktop -> set horizontal and vertical sizes to whatever you like ( I did 2x2) 4. ccsm -> backend -> set to flat-file. [Bug 1516451] Re: check_disk plugin broken after upgrade to 15.10
I suspect there isn't a code change here, but rather a difference in the way Ubuntu is presenting its mount points. The plugin tries to enumerate and check all mounts.
