[Bug 1571432] [NEW] Cacti package is incompatible with PHP7 on Xenial
Public bug reported: The Cacti web interfaces fails the Cacti install in a default Xenial install with all dependancies installed via apt-get. PHP7 no longer provides the mysql extension, however Cacti exepects it and Cacti install fails. This can be patched by stopping it from looking for the extension, but there appear to be other errors as well due to incompatibility between Cacti and PHP7. Public bug reported: This error occured after I upgraded from 15.10 to 16.04. There were some errors during installation and installation was completed with errors in an unstable state. The update script recommended to run "dpkg --configre -a" . I run the command but got a lot of errors. I did an "apt update && apt -f upgrade". It upgraded some of the packages. And I had the courage to restart my system. I restarted without any problems. But I got this error after the restart. I haven't seen any other problems though ("yet"). Same situation on my mid-2012 MacBook Pro; it never connects, even after the network information is entered using the dialog, or using ifconfig and ifup to activate. I currently have OTA-10.1 installed. Last full charge shows 114 hours at 65%. I can read the log file. I will try to upload the log file and the output of the command [1] if the bug occurs again. Is there a comfortable way run the command [1] from a Desktop terminal? I don't have a bluetooth keyboard. Same here - Gallery is ignoring the ".nomedia" file (which should hide any content in the same directory as this file), whilst other applications, Scopes and web apps do not...
