According to  my GPU supports CUDA, but the log from BOINC says that
no GPU was found.

It used to work for me when I had an nVidia GT 610.

nVidia's web pages are a little inconstant, and the GT 710 appears to
have been left of the list in at least one place, despite lesser cards
like the GT 705 and the older GT 610 being listed.

In order to allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue, at your 
earliest convenience, could you please test the latest upstream kernel 
available from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D ? Please 
keep in mind the following:
1) The one to test is at the very top line at the top of the page (not the 
daily folder).
2) The release names are irrelevant.
3) The folder time stamps aren't indicative of when the kernel actually was 
released upstream.
4) Install instructions are available at 
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds .

If testing on your main install would be inconvenient, one may:
1) Install Ubuntu to a different partition and then test this there.

After a while / after resume from suspend, the system becomes unable to
respond to DNS queries, with the following output for example:

This is on an up to date yakkety install.  Changing resolv.conf to use 8.8.8.8, 
or restarting network-manager appears to fix this, at least until it recurs

I was having the same issue. I discovered the issue when I found errors
written to `/var/log/seat0-greeter.log`:

Error writing X authority: Failed to open X authority
/var/lib/lightdm/.Xauthority: No such file or directory

Indeed, I only had `/var/lib/lightdm-data`. Running the command

mkdir /var/lib/lightdm

and rebooting fixed the issue for me.

[Bug 1629617] [NEW] File corruption with ext4 dump and restore

I used Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS dump and restore version 0.4b44-7 to dump and
restore a Raspbian Jessie ext4 file system from an SD card. After
restoring, the _CACHE_00?_ files from ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox//Cache/ have differing contents. On the original file system they
consist of all zero bytes, but on a restored file system they have large
sections of non-zero bytes near the end. All other files match by MD5
sum, and the restored dump is usable. There are no error messages during
dump or restore.

These same files are affected every time. This seems to be a
deterministic problem relating to these files, and not an issue with the
SD card or reader. The file system passes fsck.ext4 -f without any
errors. The bug has already been reported as upstream bug
https://sourceforge.net/p/dump/bugs/162/ by someone else. There is no
fix yet.

Not sure what is the exact requirement for carrier certification but in
my opinion showing the SIM Icons for each detected SIM cards is equally
functional as showing the empty icons. That said, the only extra
information that the empty SIM icon is adding is to tell the user that
this phone is actually capable of using more than 1 card.

If the requirement is to always give a hint of the number of SIMs the
phone is capable of, then a possible space-efficient solution would be
to show which SIM is the indicator refering to. This could include the
total number of slots like the page counters in a document: 1/2, 2/2.
This means a user with only the second slot being used will have an
indicator showing 2/2, a user using only the first slot will have 1/2,
and a user with both will have 1/2 in one indicator and 2/2 in the
other. For single SIM support it doesn't harm to show 1/1, but it could
also default to not showing it explicitly.

Just an opinion... because I think showing both indicators all the time
is a misuse of the limited space.

[Bug 1629611] [NEW] dns server priority broken

Yakkety appears to have switched back from resolved to dnsmasq, but it seems 
server priority/order is broken.

Example: In split DNS setups, connecting to VPN will not cause us to
query the DNS provided by the VPN first (or only), which should be the
proper way to resolve names in that case.

Say server.example.com in the public DNS resolves to a.a.a.a and in the
private DNS resolves to b.b.b.b.

Stuff would work from my normal internet-connection, but connection to
VPN would cause stuff to misbehave. I expect to hit the b.b.b.b address
but since my normal LAN DNS is being used first, I'm really hitting
a.a.a.a.

Please let me know how to proceed - Hopefully this can be fixed in time
for release.

The mono packages have been causing a lot of problems during and after
the upgrade. When I tried to remove them, apt was complaining about
missing files under /usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/ that it tried to
delete. I had to run the following command:

I uploaded a new LXD to yakkety which will tentatively close this bug as
it fixes a bunch of IPv6 related issues.

I'm however not convinced that I'm actually fixing the specific problem
reported above, so I'm still very interested in the command output from
above as well as any more information that'd let me reproduce this.

I'll just re-open this bug based on replies and do any more fixing
that's needed in either the migration script or LXD itself.
