I've verified that the contents of /usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz in libkrb5support0 1.13.2+dfsg-5 correctly matches across architectures. This looks like a problem of local filesystem corruption on your install. You can check this by installing the debsums package and running 'debsums /usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz', which should return no mismatches. Also, the correct md5sum for this file is: $ md5sum /usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz 553513278beb9f1512774d100fbd3176 /usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz $ You should be able to resolve this problem either by running 'sudo apt install --reinstall libkrb5support0', or by manually removing /usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz, and then installing libkrb5support0:i386. Closing this as invalid, since this problem is not reproduced with the package in the Ubuntu archive. ** Changed in: krb5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1652549 Title: package libkrb5support0 1.13.2+dfsg-5 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite shared '/usr/share/doc/libkrb5support0/changelog.Debian.gz', which is different from other instances of package libkrb5support0:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/krb5/+bug/1652549/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1651707] Re: ntpd[1243]: error resolving pool 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org: Name or service not known (-2)
The global pool is certainly working and its DNS servers are resolving correctly: $ host 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org has address 108.59.2.24 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org has address 129.250.35.250 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org has address 52.0.56.137 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org has address 72.14.179.135 Directly after the last occurrence of the resolver failure, your ntpd resolved a large list of pool servers, including 5 within the same second as the error message. Without knowing your configuration, I'd guess this was a network- manager-initiated restart, and your resolver setup simply wasn't finished by the time ntpd was asking for DNS names. If you're using the default ntp configuration (or similar to it), this will not be a problem, because ntpd will retry the DNS lookups. ** Changed in: ntp (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1651707 Title: ntpd[1243]: error resolving pool 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org: Name or service not known (-2) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ntp/+bug/1651707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1637179] Re: Hexchat is unstable in Ubuntu 16.10
> So I really wish for a new official ubuntu package up-to-date. Anyway, this won't happen, because simply packages are not updated to new releases in stable releases (apart from few exceptions). Also, this bug is not really actionable, as "program is unstable" is not much to go on. Besides, I tried to run it on a clean yakkety install for a few hours, and I didn't encounter any oddities. If you are bleed edge software, you can consider updating to the development version of ubuntu (zesty) in some weeks (Feature Freeze is 16th February, and after that nothing huge/breaking should happen). If you have any particular crash or so, please report it, and that can be probably be actually fixed; I'm closing this bug. ** Changed in: hexchat (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1637179 Title: Hexchat is unstable in Ubuntu 16.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hexchat/+bug/1637179/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 375147] Re: Unicode 5.1 data missing from 20060907 release
When looking at libuninameslist, you need to think of these like you would think of paperback books. Once these libraries are published, they will not be updated. Information: It seems that each year, unicode.org updates the unicode charts with refinements, improvements, and updates, for example, going from Unicode 8 (2015) to Unicode 9 (2016), there are a few thousand updates. Since these charts are fluid and changing, several functions have also been added into recent versions of libuninameslist to make it easier to quickly query information based on which list is loaded. Existing programs are not really needing these sort of functions at the moment, but these functions do allow for the potential of loading different library versions if anyone sees a need for that sort of functionality. Summary: Updating any particular version of libuninameslist is highly unlikely, and timewise, you are always better-off loading a more current/recent version unless you need to work with some very old data. I don't see any switches allowing this bug to be closed, so it will have to be closed by the original poster, or someone with administrative privileges for this bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375147 Title: Unicode 5.1 data missing from 20060907 release To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libuninameslist/+bug/375147/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1624844] Re: Ubuntu 16.04 breaks boot with wrong zpool.cache
This is now occurring for me with latest as of this post, as of shuffling around the drives in my system, including the addition of another drive. I may need to delete the zfs cache, if that's possible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1624844 Title: Ubuntu 16.04 breaks boot with wrong zpool.cache To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zfs-linux/+bug/1624844/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1652537] [NEW] Update chrome-gnome-shell to version 8 in all supported releases
Public bug reported: Impact == gnome-shell provides a browser plugin so that users can manage GNOME Shell extensions by visiting https:/extensions.gnome.org/ in Firefox and compatible browsers. This extension will stop working in Firefox once users upgrade to Firefox 52. Firefox 52 is scheduled for upstream release March 7, 2017. chrome-gnome-shell version 8 adds Firefox support that will keep working in Firefox 52 and beyond. There are actually two parts to chrome-gnome-shell: a system helper and a browser addon. The chrome-gnome-shell package provides the system helper. The browser addon can be installed directly without admin privileges from https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/gnome-shell-integration/ or for Chrome at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/gnome-shell-integration/gphhapmejobijbbhgpjhcjognlahblep For more details, see https://blogs.gnome.org/ne0sight/2016/12/25/how-to-install-gnome-shell-extensions-with-firefox-52/ Test Case = Regresion Potential === Other Info == chrome-gnome-shell 7 is available in Ubuntu 16.10.
