[Bug 1670686] Re: [FFE] DPDK: fix i40e poll mode driver on ppc64el
These two fixes (bug 1670686 and bug 1670689) represent bringing a feature to ppc64el. The feature patches look small, self-contained and specific to the ppc64el architecture. The new code is upstream and backported to the zesty version. It brings feature parity to ppc64el. Regression potential is very limited as the changes are architecture specific utilising a h/w feature only available on ppc64el. Existing architectures should be unmodified and ppc64el (as stated above) is a new architecture here so there is no regression potential their either. The package with these patches has passed dep8 testing (marginal value) and manual testing both for the new ppc64el packages and on amd64 (an existing architecture). This is a new feature which will be a tech-preview in zesty, so we have time to iterate should there be any issues. The ubuntu-server team and IBM are committed to bug fixing this support. Acking (on behalf of the release-team) for upload to zesty-proposed. ** Changed in: dpdk (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1670686 Title: [FFE] DPDK: fix i40e poll mode driver on ppc64el To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpdk/+bug/1670686/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1629251] Re: Some app-indicators not showing menus
Thanks for the hint, Khurshid. The env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity:Unity7 breaks some applications. Both slack-desktop and skypeforlinux are are missing because of this env var. [Bug 1629251] Re: Some app-indicators not showing menus
Dropbox won't show any menu if it starts as old systray menu. Under Unity (Ubuntu >=17.04) it has to start as appindicator. env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity dropbox start -i It should also work for other desktop-environment which also uses indicator-applet like gnome-flashback session. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629251 Title: Some app-indicators not showing menus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-qt/+bug/1629251/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
