[Bug 1217959] Re: 'metadata' file not found when creating backup ("Could not restore ‘/home/user /.cache/deja-dup/metadata’: File not found in backup"

2017-06-25 Thread Dabo Ross
I thought this had been fixed, but I ran into something else very
similar today:

When I had a symlink set for ~/.cache/deja-dup, deja-dup actually
_deleted_ this symlink, and still filled up my home folder. I ran out of
space and the backup failed.

Perhaps this is why it was succeeding for me, just by coincidence I had
enough space at the time?

Or would it be better to make a new issue for this seeming deletion of
symbolic links?

deja-dup 34.3

- unchanged since 2.11.94.

[Bug 1700337] [NEW] Leaing fullscreen for VM not possible in virt-manager/zeisty

2017-06-25 Thread Gunnar Thielebein
Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu Zeisty when opening a Virtual Machines windows it is not
possible to minimize the fullscreen window. The button on top does not
scroll down, when hovered with mouse. No other shortcuts (Strg + Alt +
NP) works.

Only way to exit is to power down the VM.

This was possible with the same VM (moved from another laptop with
xenial installed).

[Bug 1671360] Re: System doesn't boot properly on Gigabyte AM4 motherboards (AMD Ryzen)

2017-06-25 Thread John Kelly
I'm using: 4.10.0-24-generic and only able to use Ubuntu with acp=off
nickleplated.

I'm unclear about how to fetch the versions that people are mentioning
in the last few posts. Can someone clue me in on how to fetch `linux-
generic-hwe-16.04-edge=4.10.0.23.16.10.0` or `4.10.0-25 from -proposed`
with aptitude? Google is failing me. I'd be very happy to test them out
and see if it solves the gigabyte motherboard issue.
