[Bug 1702407] Re: Startup crash after upgrading to 59.0.3071.109 on trusty/xenial/yakkety
The browser is an example demo from QtWebengine 5.9.1. I cross compile it and run it on my arm linux board. The version of the linux kernel is 3.6.5 ,which not support sandbox ,so i disabled it. The browser's build arguments is march=armv7a, mfpu=vfpv3, mfloat-abi=softfp. But the linux kernel was built with soft float(When i build it with vfp ,it cann't start up). The arm cpu is contex-A9 with VFPv3 and NEON, without gpu(I use mesa library instead). Everytime when i run the browser, the render process will exit with some code ,such as 9,11,256. I got the error logs: The first type is "[2109:2111:0901/175748.014628:FATAL:picture_layer_impl.cc(1254)] Check failed: min_contents_scale > 0.f (0.0625 vs. 0)" The second type is " Received signal 11 SEGV_MAPERR ". I debug the browser found that the error may occur in module cc, or module blink, or module base. I guess the basic error is the float calculation error which check 0.0625 > 0.f get false or calculate log(1000) get a mistake. Additionally, the QtWebKit browser can run normally on my board. I build the two browser together. The difference is the QtWebEngine browser use FPU, GPU and sandbox which QtWebKit not use. Maybe the error was caused by my board, not the QtWebEngine browser. I try many times but don't know how to solve it. [Bug 1373070] Re: full fix for disconnected path (paths)
Same problem with powerdns, I can't run it with apparmor profile, because it complains: operation="sendmsg" info="Failed name lookup - disconnected path" error=-13 profile="/usr/sbin/pdns_server" name="run/systemd/journal/dev- log" pid=17236 comm="pdns_server" requested_mask="w" denied_mask="w" fsuid=0 ouid=0 I am not an expert, but I tried to put run/systemd/journal/dev-log into the profile, but it is not accepted as it does not start with / ... But this is what kernel log suggest, so what can I do otherwise? Note: I have: /usr/sbin/pdns_server flags=(complain,attach_disconnected) But still ... (now I have only complain mode). If I exclude pdns from systemd it works btw, and no wonder as it seems the problem somehow connected to systemd's journal, so it's better not to use systemd if possible since it renders apparmor unusable in my experience :( But for sure, I would be more than happy to have a better option, rather than deleting systemd's unit file each time after upgrade pdns ... Or so. this is up-to-date Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 64 bit, fresh install, but I have about a dozen of servers with this problem with different daemons as well, not only powerdns. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1373070 Title: full fix for disconnected path (paths) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1373070/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-documents - 3.25.91-1 --- gnome-documents (3.25.91-1) experimental; urgency=medium [ Andreas Henriksson ] * New upstream release * Update build-dependencies according to upstream configure.ac changes: - drop intltool (in favor of gettext) - switch to tracker 2.0 - bump required gtk+ and gjs versions * Drop debian/patches/git_require-gepub-0.5.patch, included upstream. * Refresh remaining patches to apply without fuzz. [Bug 1698035] Re: FFe: gnome-control-center lacks any replacement for unity-control-center's Diagnostics tab for managing crash reports
** Description changed: gnome-control-center lacks any replacement for unity-control-center's Diagnostics tab (Ubuntu-specific) for managing crash reports. [Bug 1621550] Re: Snappy should detect when running in KVM, specify correct ssh connection line
The goal of this report is to deal with the usability issue. The issue that when you start Ubuntu Core through KVM, you do not get a working command on how to connect to the running image. A simple solution could be to adapt the text on #1 to say something like: can connect remotely to this device via SSH: ssh you@10.0.15.1(if running on standalone device) ssh you@localhost(if running through KVM) If KVM guests are not expected to be very common, then no change would be necessary. [Bug 1717213] [NEW] lubuntu installation with fully encryped disk is broken
Public bug reported: Hello, This issue is concerned to the installation procedure for the Lubuntu distribution. I am using Lubuntu 17.04. I was trying to install Lubuntu on new notebook with fully encrypted disk from the USB stick. It was not possible and had to do some workarounds (now it works). There was three issues. 1) Before installation I had run sudo swapoff --all 2) Before installation I had install missing packake lvm2 3) When the installation finished successfully, computer was not able to to boot. When I entered disk password, the boot process failed on strange error. (I have not it) I have applied these steps https://feeding.cloud.geek.nz/posts/recovering-from-unbootable- ubuntu-encrypted-lvm-root-partition/ ant it works. The problem was, that in the installed system was missing package lvm2 So I believe, that the problem is just only with missing package lvm2 in the installation system and also with missing this lvm2 package in the installed system. The snapd side of things has been committed. Both on master: https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/commit/44611140566f6e6aa2a3b583e0b2970b69c8f53f ... and the release/2.28 branch: https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/commit/69a00bc4f4e54d7e0312c253b46b97fca834b736 Together with the already released snapd-glib 1.19, this version of snapd will let you install snaps via gnome-software without an Ubuntu One account. Instead you'll get a graphical prompt for your local password, similar to when installing debs. ** Changed in: snapd (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Committed ** Changed in: snapd (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => James Henstridge (jamesh) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1581713 Title: Ubuntu Software always asks for an Ubuntu Single Sign-On account when installing or removing a snap package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1581713/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1453655] Re: desktop icons disappear on Ubuntu 15.04 when clicking Open Dropbox folder
Same issue in 17.04 (a clean install). Do not have this problem with the 16.04 LTS release I have running on another computer. Would greatly appreciate a fix for this, have been living with it now for 6 months and, although no data is lost, it is REALLY annoying and gives an impression of "flakiness". Only affects the desktop if I access the dropbox folders from the icon in the system tray, if I go there through the file manager all works ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1453655 Title: desktop icons disappear on Ubuntu 15.04 when clicking Open Dropbox folder To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1453655/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
