Sorry, it's not very explicative as I did it quickly with OBS, so here is a bit of context: - I have Caja opened in a dir which has just enough files to fille its window - at first, I can rename a file, two lines are ok, can still rename it - when the name is long enough (3 lines) so that a scrollbar appears, I can no longer rename it: at about 00:23, when I select the file, I'm repeatedly pressing F2 but it has no effect - if I then resize the window so that the scrollbar disappears, I can rename the file again - if I resize it again as it was just before, can't rename the file - *but* if I resize it again to make it smaller (so, there is still a scrollbar), I can rename it >From what I can guess, it seems that the issue happens when the last row of files shown in the window (when they're bigger than the visible zone) has a specific amount of their name cut. Hello Christopher, thank you for triaging. 1) No. LAN only cycles the connection when setting the MTU. Setting MTU to "automatic" (= the default) works fine. 2) I tested with the daily-live-ISO (downloaded at 06/16/2018). With this version the LAN interface worked without connection cycles - even if I changed the MTU. For further review, I have also tested with Xubuntu 18.04. Again, the LAN interface showed no connection cycles after changing the MTU. Additional information: My currently installed and fully updated version 17.10 still shows the problem. It looks like the bug is fixed from version 18.04 on, so I will update to Xubuntu 18.04.1 soon. Public bug reported: I have Kubuntu 18.04 installed with /home/$USER directory using ecryptfs. As a display manager I use standard sddm and sddm-locker. If I leave my PC for a weekend powered on and locked then I'm unable to log in on monday. When I enter correct password in sddm - it prints that I entered incorrect password. If I switch to any virtual terminal and try to login there I'm immediately thrown out of session back to login prompt. Hi Lukasz, it is a flaky test in this case. On one hand there is no quota usage in this test (boot-smoke failed last). Further different subtests fail on different retries. Thanks for asking, but for now we can only ignore it and go on or retrigger until green. I takled to xnox about it but there seems not too much he can do about it atm. We want the coverage of the working tests, but some are flaky (some more than others). [Bug 1777395] [NEW] [bionic] Dell precision touchpad RMB no longer works
Public bug reported: Using the clickable touchpad on the Dell Precision 5520, the "right mouse button" (an area marked on the bottom right of the touchpad) no longer produces an RMB event when clicked. This used to work in Artful. More details: The Dell Precision touchpad is "clickable" - i.e. when pressed firmly it produces a click sound and triggers an LMB event even without raising the finger from the touchpad. This allows you to move the cursor around quickly and clicking on things without having to stop and raise your finger from the surface. Additionally, the touchpad has a marked bottom area that is split into two horizontally. When clicking (not tapping) on the right part of the bottom area, it should simulate a right mouse button click, while on the left part it should simulate a left mouse button click. This used to work well under Artful, but does no longer work in Bionic - both sides produce a left click (with some caveats, the left side doesn't seem to work so well, but that is probably another issue). [Bug 1777392] [NEW] atril prints cmyk PDF with inverted colors
Public bug reported: Hello, Since upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, I'm having trouble printing PDFs in CMYK colorspace from atril. The same PDFs printed OK with atril on the same machine when on 17.10, they print OK on other machines with 16.04 (with evince though), and they also print OK on 18.04 from command line (lpr -P PRINTER_NAME file.pdf). I was only able to reproduce the issue with atril. The printer is a HP LaserJet Pro 400, also tried on a Lexmark E260dn, so it's not a printer or driver issue (different printer manufacturers). I do not want to post the PDFs in the bug report, but I can send them privately. They are 100% CMYK (/DeviceCMYK) as are the included images. Please contact me if there is any further information needed or anything I can try, I'm very interested to resolve this as it interferes with my workflow a lot. I wonder if the kernel upgrade on 2018-06-13 broke your kernel command line, which would prevent the nvidia driver from working...
