[Bug 1849720] Re: Running VM with Virtual NIC Crashes Host OS

2019-11-08 Thread Christian Ehrhardt 
Zach, thanks for the feedback.
Since we still struggle to recreate this on our side is there a chance that you
could test kernels from [1] to help spotting which version bump exactly it was?

Going further we might even need to bisect things, but one step at a time.
I'd not want to put this on you (or the others), but if it continues not to
trigger for us we might have to.

It is now clear that multiple people see this dependent on the kernel, adding a
kernel task for it.
Maybe they have heard about similar issue on other bugs?

[Bug 1851793] [NEW] NetworkManager OpenVPN No longer sets up DNS if "Use this connection only for resources on its network" is ticked

2019-11-08 Thread Uros Platise
Public bug reported:

Hi,

after recent update few days ago, I noticed that DNS is not configured
if "Use this connection only for resources" on its network is ticked,
for OpenVPN, which used to work till latest update.

My config:

- IPv4 Method: Automatic (DHCP)
- DNS: 10.1.0.1, Automatic: Off
- Routes: Automatic: On
- [x] Use this connection ...

If OpenVPN is setup to work for all resources, then DNS is configured
properly.

It would be nice if DNS is also configured as before.

[Bug 1851789] [NEW] Xorg freeze

2019-11-08 Thread Alexander Biehl
Public bug reported:

While each window partly unresponsive, the system did not freeze up completely.
I was still able to switch active windows or change to different desktops.

But within each window, only the previously active part I was still able to
interact with.
For example in my browser, the active part was the address bar. I was still
able to type, but any other interaction (buttons, opening new tabs etc) was not
possible.
