Try davfs2 1.5.5 (F31 though) which Filipe Rosset created as a response to bug 1736871. 2. The other reporter indicated that unmounting still does not work. If you experience the same issue this is how you can help: - file a *support* ticket upstream: http://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?group=davfs2 - once upstream has confirmed the issue/has committed a fix please ask upstream to release a new version and get back to use so we can push a new version to Fedora. [Bug 1859295] [NEW] zoneminder 1.32.3-2build1 does not work with MySQL 8
Public bug reported: The zoneminder 1.32.3-2 package was rebuilt against MySQL for eoan. However, zoneminder 1.32.3 is incompatible with MySQL 8. The database uses several reserved keywords as table and column names that are not escaped with backticks in php, perl and C++ code in the project. [Bug 1859294] [NEW] Cannot type capital letters with accents: pressing Shift cancels the accent key action
Public bug reported: This is a weird quirk: When typing Spanish accented capital letters, one presses the Accent key (') and then the letter (e.g. "a"), so the sequence " ' + a " results in "á". Expected: Pressing Accent + Letter = Accented Letter. What happens: When one presses Accent + Shift + letter, Shift cancels the Accent action (with an audible system alert if activated). It is possible, however, to press Caps Lock and do Accent + letter, with the expected result (an accented letter). This only happens within Chromium. [Bug 1859293] [NEW] davfs2 umount.davfs crashes when compiled with gcc 9
Public bug reported: davfs2 uses the fscanf format string "%a[0-9]". "%a" is part of C89, but not C99, and tells fscanf to do the string allocation. The fscanf man page states: Note that the a modifier is not available if the program is compiled with gcc -std=c99 or gcc -D_ISOC99_SOURCE (unless _GNU_SOURCE is also specified), in which case the a is interpreted as a specifier for floating-point numbers (see above). [Bug 1852935] Re: In Ubuntu Budgie, QT apps take a long time to open
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1851160 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1851160 Thanks for the analysis. I still cannot reproduce this, even on an installed system (Ubuntu Budgie 19.10 in Virtualbox). For me the relevant functions are called, but there is no delay. I guess there is some race condition here that is hard to catch. The code on top of your stacktrace just tries to register with the D-Bus, i.e. send a hello message. I don’t see why this may fail — maybe because the code was called while ibus has been doing its own D-Bus stuff? Code that sets the timeout is in g_dbus_connection_send_message_with_reply_unlocked function: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/blob/2.62.1/gio/gdbusconnection.c#L1909 (check lines 1926 and 1959-1960). That is a mature code so I don’t think it may be buggy. However I see that there is a glib 2.62.2-2~ubuntu19.10.1 upload in eoan-proposed that has some fixes related to ibus authentication. Can you please check if it fixes the issue? See this page for instructions how to enable proposed: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed. Anyway, as I said earlier, GTK 2 is deprecated and I do not want to spend much time on bugs related to it. Patches are welcome however I still think it is an issue deeper in the stack, in GTK 2 itself or in ibus. As a workaround I think you can remove ibus-gtk package or qt5-gtk2-platformtheme. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852935 Title: In Ubuntu Budgie, QT apps take a long time to open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtstyleplugins-src/+bug/1852935/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1859290] [NEW] Virtualbox no usb devices
Public bug reported: With virtualbox 6.1 on 20.04 (Whether from repos, or from oracle) usb devices are not recognized by a user who has been added to vboxusers group. [Bug 1859289] [NEW] network-manager keeps asking for wifi password can't connect to any wifi
Public bug reported: network-manager keeps asking for wifi password can't connect to any wifi I've experienced this problem since last month on the current kernel and the one before that. The only solution I could find through trial and error is to switch to a non-default kernel (like lowlatency) but that of course breaks a bunch of other stuff. Also, network USB tethering won't work on the generic kernel for some reason, and again a non-default kernel solves the issue. A google search for "ubuntu keeps asking for wifi password" shows that this problem is quite common. Hopefully this will get fixed cause if you can't use wifi you can't use your computer. [Bug 1858270] Re: "ubuntu upgrade available" popup "yes upgrade now" does nothing
I was helped on #ubuntu on irc, executing "do-release-upgrade" in bash does the trick. But There was no feedback or error or log saying that my shell was the issue. I wasn't aware that changing my shell could have this effect. So I would still consider this 'bad behavior' and a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1858270 Title: "ubuntu upgrade available" popup "yes upgrade now" does nothing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1858270/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I can also report the same behavior, on a Clevo laptop running Ubuntu 20.04 (development version), kernel 5.3.0-24. Clevo does not currently provide BIOS updates for this model, and it is unlikely that they ever will. The error is as reported by the OP, and repeats several times per second on the standard error, which makes it impossible to use virtual consoles and terminals: [timestamp] pcieport :00:1d.4: AER: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Uncorrected (Non-Fatal), type=Transaction Layer, (Requester ID) [timestamp] pcieport :00:1d.4: AER: device [8086:9db4] error status/mask=0010/0001 [timestamp] pcieport :00:1d.4: AER:[20] UnsupReq (First) [timestamp] pcieport :00:1d.4: AER: TLP Header: 3400 0410 80008000 I have followed the explanation given here for a very similar PCI Express bus error: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/369090 to give the option pci=nommconf to the kernel, in order to disable memory-mapping the configuration space of the PCI device, and instead use the original method of accessing this space through I/O ports, if I understand correctly. This option can be given at startup (press E in GRUB) and then in /etc/default/grub for subsequent boots (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pci=nommconf"). The option works for me in working around the issue, and can hopefully work for other users whose hardware won't be supported with a BIOS update. >From what I understand, the problem could come from the particular PCI Express device (an Intel PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, 760p Series, according to lshw), from the PCI Express root controller, or from the interaction between them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1758545 Title: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Uncorrected (Non-Fatal), type=Transaction Layer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1758545/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
