I tried and can confirm the bug is still present with the below version: Version: 7.0.4.2 Build ID: dcf040e67528d9187c66b2379df5ea4407429775 CPU threads: 12; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Here is what I did: - clicked the row label of row #8 - clicked the background color icon on the toolbar and changed it black - pressed Command-Z (MacOS equivalent of Ctrl-Z on Windows) As opposed to the original bug report, the height hasn't been changed when I changed the color to black. But changed it when I used undo. So, the bug is still there, just in a different shape. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/646157 Title: [Upstream] Calc loses row height value when modifying a cell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/646157/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 646157]
Dear Christopher M. Penalver, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Bug 1853007]
One standard way to deal with this kind of thing is to open the file - then immediately unlink the file. The file handle can continue to be used to read / write the file. The file is removed from the directory list (so is no longer visible). It is removed completely when the file handle is closed - or when app stops running (which closes all open file handles). May mean passing file handle around instead of filename but that's a trivial and automatable change. Maybe you guys can do something similar? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853007 Title: nsemail and nscopy files left in /tmp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/1853007/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1915036] Re: Unable to suspend under nouveau driver on kernel 5.8.0-41.46
Alright, I've had some time to test the nouveau drivers with my MacBook and I'm switching back to the proprietary ones. What I've found is the nouveau drivers: - can't suspend, - become unresponsive sometimes (this was one of the reasons I switched back), + are open source, + support Wayland which the next release of Ubuntu will use by default. And the proprietary drivers: + can suspend - but become glitchy afterwards, - are proprietary, - don't support Wayland. It's to each their own to determine which is worse but I think the nouveau drivers currently are for this computer at this current time I'm hopefully going to be getting a new computer soon and I don't have high hopes for this issue to be solved, I'm not using the drivers anyone, and I don't have any intention of following up with this issue. [Bug 1916064] Re: Touchpad not detected on Ideapad 14ARE05
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1916064/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1905728] Re: Found insecure W+X mapping at address on Groovy RISCV
This is not a regression and has been this way since the dawn of 5.8 riscv, as we have CONFIG_STRICT_KERNEL_RWX set. When investigating, I see many fixes that involve the linker script, so I assume this is due to some sections, like init sections carrying both text and data, which could cause this. I tried picking a lot of commits, and needed to either do extensive backports or carry a lot of commits, and still without success, hitting a linker problem that would require carrying even more fixes. So, contrary to what has been said about 5.8 bringing up STRICT_KERNEL_RWX to riscv, this is really not ready for prime time, and should be left for future versions. TL;DR: We should just disable CONFIG_STRICT_KERNEL_RWX on linux-riscv 5.8. [Bug 1916074] [NEW] Firefox has border if started with kwin compositing disabled
Public bug reported: If I start Firefox with in KDE Plasma with kwin compositing disabled, and the Firefox title bar is disabled via Customize, the whole window has a border. Otherwise my computer is configured to not have window borders, and other applications don't have such a border. I don't know how to make that border go away, besides enabling compositing. Playing with #main-window in userChrome.css shows that the border and margin I can set there exists inside the border which I'm trying to remove. KWin has a hotkey for toggling compositing, found in Global Shortcuts. Default seems to be Alt+Shift+F12. Toggling compositing doesn't seem to change this immediately. What matters is the state of compositing when Firefox was started. I'm attaching a screenshot showing this border. [Bug 1869808] Re: reboot neutron-ovs-agent introduces a short interrupt of vlan traffic
Correction, stable/queens patches are the same as the attached debdiff. I created stable/rocky patches based on upstream stable/stein. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1869808 Title: reboot neutron-ovs-agent introduces a short interrupt of vlan traffic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1869808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1884836] Re: Groovy+ should stop building and publishing udebs
Started to implement this in dpkg https://salsa.debian.org/xnox/dpkg/-/merge_requests/1/diffs Added a Vendor hook functionality for build profiles, added ability for Ubuntu DEB_VENDOR to set the noudeb build profile by default, but also to override/disable that from the environment. This will not only work in launchpad, but will also work on any other standard ways of building Ubuntu packages. Will attempt to upstream that to debian. >From launchpad point of view, I do agree that build-profiles is an archive-distro-arch-series setting. One may want to build certain PPAs with udebs and primary archive without udebs. And have it as a per series/arch setting too. ** Changed in: dpkg (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1884836 Title: Groovy+ should stop building and publishing udebs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/1884836/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1916073] [NEW] qemu-system-arm should depend on qemu-efi
Public bug reported: I used MAAS to deploy a VM host. When MAAS does this it installs the libvirt-daemon-system and libvirt-clients packages which pull in qemu- system-arm on ARM64. I tried to use MAAS to create a virtual machine but this failed with Failed to open file '/usr/share/AAVMF/AAVMF_CODE.fd': No such file or directory Manually installing the qemu-efi package fixes the issue. AMD64 and PPC64 don't require the qemu-efi package because by default they don't emulate UEFI. Because ARM64 does emulate UEFI by default the qemu-efi package should be required by qemu-system-arm. ** Affects: qemu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1916073 Title: qemu-system-arm should depend on qemu-efi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1916073/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
