anton_wes...@t-online.de continuing: unfortunately the Collected data and the Apport I can only send to you, not to myself, am not able to get a copy on a file. yet, with a magnified lens, I could read tha the cause is a MD5 checksum error caused by libnvidia...418... in muon I saw: a) such a package is not installed; b) ...418... are transient packaged; by muon I installed all packegas for nvidia with number 390. but again installer crashed. in the Collected data and the Apport I saw, that nevertheless ...418... caused MD5 checksum error. the new packeges I installed had nor been used. Best to do nothing. Just install and use your web-browser of choice. I asked in the zfs github issue and the answer is that the versions must match. I compiled the new images that you sent. Linux 5.10.56- and received the same error about Libc6 being downlevel, but when I rebooted that kernel it booted with what appeared to be the same errors as 5.13.7. I didn't see any other errors. Public bug reported: Hello! After the upgrade to the 5.8 series kernel to the 5.11 series kernel, I have noticed some screen flickering. I had the same problem previously on Fedora after upgrading to the 5.0 series kernel, but this was not present on Ubuntu 20.04 on either the 5.4 or 5.8 series kernels. On Fedora, it was fixed by turning off panel self-refresh on my Dell XPS 13 9380. I can try that again here if you all think it would be a useful piece of information. In the Fedora bug, it was reported that this problem is fixed in the 5.13 kernel. Let me know whatever else I can do. Thanks!
