Public bug reported: I would like to select wayland display manager on login screen. But when I click on the gear icon in login screen, screen resets to terminal view for a few seconds and black login screen is displayed. There is no more gear icon, I enter login info and can log into the session. But the activated display manager is X.org. Must I wait for some fixes, in order to be able to list different display managers in login window (the rest on gear icon is normal), or can I configure the system somehow in order to enable change of display managers? less /etc/gdm3/custom.conf ... Experiencing that issue on a Surface Go 1 tablet running vanilla Ubuntu 22.04 (no custom kernel, other customizations). Thank you very much. The disabling of udp by default is what broke version 2 and version 3, and since TCP were not part of the NFS specification for either of these versions, making it the default makes ZERO sense. Public bug reported: Dual boot, Win 10 & Ubuntu 22.04. Camera works on Win but not discoverable on Ubuntu 22.04 Never any image or video in cheese F6 does not turn it on in Cheese. Used synaptic, nothing broken. Checked for driver, nothing available. Boot from USB (ie install iso) Cheese does not work in "try Ubuntu" mode, ie cheese cannot find camera. I have tried other programs that use the camera & none work. Looks like a driver is missing to me but I can't find one to add. I know the camera is there & working in Windows.
