very strange. I tried a few more things. I have two control buttons. LeftCtrl and RightCtrl. RightCtrl+Super+Left works RightCtrl+Super+Right works LeftCtrl+Super+Left works LeftCtrl+Super+Right doesn't work. this is a clean new installation of Ubuntu 16.10 and I haven't changed any settings. Hi Christopher, I downloaded Ubuntu 10.04.04 iso image but Startup Disk Creator crashes when trying to create a live USB image. I am running it on Ubuntu 13.10. Having wasted a lot of time on satisfying you requests I feel compelled to leave here some feedback for you. A lot of people who open bug reports on the launchpad, myself included, are Ubuntu developers. By making unreasonable requests, such as testing on ancient Ubuntu releases, you are wasting our valuable time that could be spent on development. Christopher, how can I install Ubuntu 10.04.4? adampaetznick, it used to be that the laptop would detect lid close event but lid open events were not detected. Martin please revert this patch. It is absolutely incorrect. Samsung never ever made a laptop with a model 900XC3 Samsung made a model called 900X3C but that model is already caught by *900X3* expression. Please revert your patch and close this bug as Invalid. On Samsung 900X3C, Ubuntu 13.04 detects lid close events and suspends the laptop, but it does not detect lid open events.
