[Bug 641712] Re: Not possible to enter password for a new user in KDM (Maverick)
I'm having the same problem with Kubuntu 11.10. This seems like a long running bug that nobody is paying attention to. I found a workaround here: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=3115856.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/641712 Title: Not possible to enter password for a new user in KDM (Maverick) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/641712/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 858122] Re: incomplete migration to /run (shutdown script order has been demolished)
packrook solution worked for me. Thanks. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dbus/+bug/811441/comments/9 This is a serious bug brought down an important backup server. The server was a standard Ubuntu server installation with only 1 foreign repo (webmin). This doesn't look good for Ubuntu or Linux. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/858122 Title: incomplete migration to /run (shutdown script order has been demolished) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/858122/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 87063] Re: [needs-packaging] Please package php5-mssql
I just want to add my voice to the need to package the MSSQL extension. I think it would help Ubuntu to break into the server market (Ubuntu specifically, not Linux). I have a very big client that uses MSSQL and has no intention of changing to any other database system in the foreseeable future. The system administrators were very open to setting Linux PHP application servers and they specifically asked about Ubuntu and because they heard good things about it. However having to compile extensions for it is not an option for them. Having spend a couple of days figuring out how to compile it myself I have to agree. So come deployment time, if the extension isn't there in the repo they'll have to look elsewhere. -- [needs-packaging] Please package php5-mssql https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87063 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
