[Bug 1875733] [NEW] GNOME Software Installed List Missing Apps
Public bug reported: Installed Ubuntu Studio 20.04LTS 4 days ago. GNOME Software's installed list is missing a lot of programs that I have installed. For example, I have installed Clementine but it is missing from the installed list. However, when I search for Clementine in Software it does identify it as being installed, but it (as well as a lot of other programs) are missing from the installed list in GNOME Software. [Bug 1851346] [NEW] Ubuntu Studio 19.10 Installer Causes Wanted Programs to be Removed
Public bug reported: Ubuntu Studio's Installer has a feature where you can select and deselect programs you would like to be pre-installed on your system. However, whenever I deselect some programs, after I finish installing the system and then boot into it for the first time apt wants to remove a load of my programs with its autoremove feature. This includes programs I do intend to use and did not deselect. For example; I deselected Blender, and then Kdenlive (which I do want to use, and hadn't deselected) also got deleted. I explain it better in a video I did on Ubuntu Studio 19.10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz_bwpPXXBc go to timestamp 1:18 which is where I begin to explain the problem. Thanks in Advance! ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1851346 Title: Ubuntu Studio 19.10 Installer Causes Wanted Programs to be Removed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1851346/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
