[Bug 1068471] Re: Blank screen on boot.

2012-10-22 Thread Adrian Suarez
Pressing the keys alternates between the text and graphical displays. I
tried to run that command and received the following error. ERROR: The
launchpadlib Python module is not installed. This functionality is not
available. I looked in the Ubuntu Software Center but am unsure as to
which package to install. When I search for launchpadlib I get python-
launchpadlib-toolkit and python-launchpadlib. Which of the two do I need
to install so this command will work or do I need them both? Many
thanks!

Re: [Bug 1068471] Re: Blank screen on boot.

2012-10-21 Thread Adrian Suarez
The full disk encryption prompt is before the main ubuntu login screen. Any
ideas on what this bug pertains to and how to move it to the proper place?
Thanks!

If so, it's not an xorg bug.

[Bug 841569] Re: Network Manager fills in a three digit SSID to Unicode

2011-10-16 Thread Adrian Suarez
New here so I'm not sure if I am reporting this in the right place but
this is the closest I could find to the issue I'm experiencing. This bug
is also present in the final version of 11.10 both 32 and 64 bit. You
can change the SSID manually back to what it should be. It will then
connect. This has to be done every time the machine is restarted or
woken up from sleep or hibernation. It seems like the change doesn't
stick.

[Bug 844193] Re: Screen won't turn back on after being turned off due to inactivity (System Settings - Screen)

2011-10-16 Thread Adrian Suarez
Can also confirm it happens on a Dell Dimension B110 desktop when logged
in. Doesn't seem to happen when logged out. Have to power down the hard
way when it occurs as the system seems completely unresponsive.
