Boot on Lubuntu 18.04 64-bit hangs at /script/local-premount/resume for
approx. twenty seconds with no disk activity, then boot resumes
correctly.

I've just installed Ubuntu 12.10, but my Echo Audiofire 12 interface (a fully 
supported device) doesn't work in my system.
I've installed FFADO-mixer, but it won't start because:
