[Bug 1302496] Re: WIth 2 diplays, the panel on the 2nd is to small you can't read things there.

2014-04-22 Thread Alexander Sell
Thanks for answer. Yes the scaling was the problem. I adjusted it many days
ago,. So I don't remember where.
Now both displays are fine. But the thing is, the basic setting in Ubuntu 14.04
is that it's too small and I had to adjust it first.
Now it is:

$ gsettings get com.ubuntu.user-interface scale-factor
{'VGA1': 8, 'LVDS1': 8}

[Bug 1302496] [NEW] WIth 2 diplays, the panel on the 2nd is to small you can't read things there.

2014-04-04 Thread Alexander Sell
Public bug reported:

Here is a video, where you can see the bug:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o27XAeVFaHU

The text in the panel on the 2nd display is too small. You can't read it.
I am using a 15" laptop and as 2nd display a 17" monitor.

Sorry how the report is like. I don't now how to describe it, because
there is no bug-report on the computer, so I made a video.

[Bug 1263492] [NEW] On installation, it isn't possible to use btrfs partition type for installation.

2013-12-22 Thread Alexander Sell
Public bug reported:

I am trying to make new 14.04 installation with AMD64-Server ISO image from
December 23rd 2013. I use new harddisk and creating btrfs partitions for
/
and
/home
But when It comes to the point to write the partition table on the disk, it
fails and it reports, that the harddisk is in use, but it's not in use, because
it's brand new installation, booting from USB.
When using the partition type ext4 there is no problem.
