[Bug 794916] [NEW] initscript wrongly sets --script-security
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openvpn The openvpn initscript wrongly sets --script-security 2 on the command line to handle backwards compatibility, even if script-security is specified in the config file. This Bug is only triggered, if openvpn starts multiple daemons. If the first daemon started does not have script-security in its configuration, the initscript sets script_security but does not reset it for subsequent daemons. Tested with 10.04, but the bug is present in 11.10 aswell. I attached a patch that fixes the problem. ** Affects: openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openvpn in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/794916 Title: initscript wrongly sets --script-security To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvpn/+bug/794916/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
