[Bug 736852] Re: dash navigation does not respect gtk-key-theme=emacs keybindings

2012-05-02 Thread Alexandre Provencio
This is something I really miss, especially c-w, c-h and c-m.
Should this (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/926783) be
marked as a dup?

[Bug 942743] [NEW] add an update-manager like notification

2012-02-28 Thread Alexandre Provencio
Public bug reported:

Every time I turn my ubuntu box on and there are new updates available,
update-manager opens itself as a unity launcher waiting for an action. I
wish deja-dup had the same behavior for a pending scheduled backup,
especially when the backup drive is not available at the moment.

xand@notebook:~$ lsb_release -d
Description:Ubuntu 11.10
xand@notebook:~$ dpkg-query -W deja-dup duplicity
deja-dup20.1-0ubuntu0.2
duplicity 0.6.15-0ubuntu2

** Affects: deja-dup (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided

[Bug 775378] Re: Clicking on any dock app snapped on a different workspace doesnt work

2012-02-02 Thread Alexandre Provencio
+1 experiencing this bug. A workaround can be a configuration in ccsm to
fixed window positions on the apps usually placed on another workspace.

[Bug 885937] Re: The last application pinned to the launcher does not retain its order

2011-12-02 Thread Alexandre Provencio
Omer, tried with a guest session and the issue is still there. I
uploaded another attachment where, from left to right:

1) sometimes the calculator goes the position where it should, which is
after the last pinned app

2) sometimes it goes before...

3) ...and among other things, can cause a mess like this, leaving a gap
between the last and second to last application

[Bug 75654] Re: deleted songs listed again when using library watch

2011-12-01 Thread Alexandre Provencio
In addiction, Rhythmbox can't detect songs removed from outside (ex:
file browser) even though living inside the monitored directory. I have
smart playlists based on file location, if I move a file from one
location to another even though still inside the monitored tree, changes
won't be detected. Should I open a new bug report on this?

[Bug 885937] Re: The last application pinned to the launcher does not retain its order

2011-12-01 Thread Alexandre Provencio
Hello Bilal!

Yes, this is Oneiric with all updates available until:
xand@notebook:~$ lsb_release -r
Release:11.10
xand@notebook:~$ cat /var/log/apt/history.log
Start-Date: 2011-12-01 09:23:21

I've tried the command you suggested, default icons came back but
setting them again as described, the issue is still there. I'm adding
two attachments with a situation almost as the described, but with six
applications pinned, The first shows initial state, and the second what
happens after opening the calculator from dash, when it goes before the
last application instead of after.

I should say that this does not happen all the time, sometimes the icons
do open after the last application pinned.
