[Bug 942743] [NEW] add an update-manager like notification
Public bug reported: Every time I turn my ubuntu box on and there are new updates available, update-manager opens itself as a unity launcher waiting for an action. Omer, tried with a guest session and the issue is still there. In addiction, Rhythmbox can't detect songs removed from outside (ex: file browser) even though living inside the monitored directory. I have smart playlists based on file location, if I move a file from one location to another even though still inside the monitored tree, changes won't be detected. I'm adding two attachments with a situation almost as the described, but with six applications pinned, The first shows initial state, and the second what happens after opening the calculator from dash, when it goes before the last application instead of after.
