[Bug 358506] Re: conduit auto sync does not work
While the auto-sync feature is supposed to work, there has been a lot of platform changes that might have broken it. However, the last non-translation commit in Conduit is more then a year old, so I believe Conduit is mostly unmaintained now and this will probably never be fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358506 Title: conduit auto sync does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/conduit/+bug/358506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 713840] Re: conduit crashed with argument must be a GObject subclass in _type_register()
I don't think Conduit is compatible with the latest PyGObject, which means Conduit is probably not able to run on Natty. [Bug 690005] Re: Too many bugs! That is impressive
If you remove any software that is dangerous to your data, you'd remove a lot more software from the repositories. Anyway, John Carr has been fixing some stuff (http://blogs.gnome.org/conduit/) but I believe nothing is released yet. As far as I know, that is the only active development right now. [Bug 571473] Re: add support for application indicator
I think you should use "./configure --enable-appindicator" and install libappindicator-dev, but other then that I'm not sure why it isn't working. I'm attaching a patch that should be applied after the first one, that keeps the menu updated after mounting so let you umount folders, which wasn't working before but I didn't notice. ** Patch added: "0002-Update-the-menu-when-mounting-unmounting.patch" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/51753643/0002-Update-the-menu-when-mounting-unmounting.patch -- add support for application indicator https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571473 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 571473] Re: add support for application indicator
Added basic support for appindicator Still missing is support to detect new stashes, so Cryptkeeper must be restarted when new stashes (encrypted folders) are added. Also, support for actions on stashes are not availiable, such as delete, information and rename, due to the way appindicator uses menus, it is not possible to show a right click menu in a stash. ** Patch added: "0001-Added-basic-support-for-appindicator.patch" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/50830825/0001-Added-basic-support-for-appindicator.patch -- add support for application indicator https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571473 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 561292] Re: Resume from sleep fails / extremely slow with fglrx
I'm having the same problem with an ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 HD. WIth the open-source drivers, suspend from resume is very fast, but with the binary-only drivers sometimes it takes ages to resume, with the disc activity indicator on my laptop blinking a lot. The open-source drivers are not an option to me because of the lack of power management, which drains my battery and keep my laptop too hot. -- Resume from sleep fails / extremely slow with fglrx https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561292 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 557393] Re: Conduit does not work properly with UTF-8 locations for rhythmbox playlists
An encode might work for your case, but it's not guaranteed to work. In fact, encoding 'Músicas' with encode() in my machine fails. We might be able to work it out with encode('UTF-8'), as I don't think the url2pathname problem is with UTF-8 encoding, but with encodings other then UTF-8.
