[Bug 522513] Re: SHA256 checksum for apt-deb
Well, the sha256 parser has been merged but the code only checks md5 if present (if so, sha256 is skipped) The question is whether it should change to checking sha256 first, otherwise sha1 and lastly fall back to md5. This was suggested for 1.2, but postponed for performance reasons (I think ?). [Bug 268143] Re: smart should treat Recommends as apt does
Weak (maybe) dependencies are also present in yum comps: https://launchpad.net/~afb/smart/groups The Depends equivalent there have type=mandatory, whereas the Recommends equivalent has type=optional instead. There's also conditional that depends on which other packages and selections have been made, and are sorta complex that way: packagereq type=conditional requires=openoffice.org-langpack- enopenoffice.org-core/packagereq -- smart should treat Recommends as apt does https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 268143] Re: smart should treat Recommends as apt does
Sorry, Recommends would be type=default. [Bug 187876] [NEW] xfce4-smartpm-plugin not finding gksudo
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xfce4-smartpm-plugin xubuntu-hardy xfce4-smartpm-plugin-0.3.0 The panel plugin doesn't get the correct authentication, so update and upgrade isn't working (tries to run as regular user) This was because the build environment didn't have gksudo installed, so it wasn't able to find the path to the helper program...
