[Bug 992249] [NEW] Mixing PCIX with ExpressCard
Public bug reported: In the test called "PCMCIA/PCIX Card tests" we'd better use "PCMCIA/ExpressCard". PCI-X[1] is an other standard mainly used in server boards. [Bug 158796] Re: Dolphin can't write to remote folder
I confirm it with KDE4. Scheenschot attached. I can't get it to speak English, but the error is OK. In the hungarian version it said, the "Argument list is too long" in english simple "Could not connect to host for smb://..." (see screenshot) Also can't connect to an added FTP-server. It tries to connect to /home/username/[whatever_is_connection_name]. I've added it with the wizard "Add a network folder". When I try to edit the path manually and type ftp://user:[EMAIL PROTECTED] it works very well. The "Local network" gives me this error (translated error msg): Couldn't create slave. Klauncher's answer: error loading kio_lan. The same with network services, but with "error loading kio_zeroconf" kded4 deamon was running. ** Attachment added: "dolphin and smb shares" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12089079/dolphin-kde4.jpg -- Dolphin can't write to remote folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 158796] Dolphin can't write to remote folder
Public bug reported: I tried to put files on remote servers, but Dolphin alwas told me: "Couldn't write here: remote" (or something like this, I use it on my native language). I added this remote folder at "Network/Add new remote place". If I use the server with "fish://user:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dir" it works in dolphin, I can write there. If I use the same ("Network/my network place") from Konqeror or any other apps (I tried Kate to save a text file to a remote folder), it also works. So only Dolphin fails. The server-side things are OK, I used to use it for a long time. Dolphin version: 0.9.2 (Kubuntu 7.10 default). If it takes matter, I installed KDE4 beta3, but I think it's independent. ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Dolphin can't write to remote folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 66316] Re: FSCK run twice
No, it checks the same FS [root, /] 2 times. 1st, it writes, that check needed on next boot, BUT it checks it anyway (on 1st boot) On the second boot, (as it said before) check it AGAIN. [Bug 66316] FSCK run twice
Public bug reported: I found a bug somewhere in the counter of the reboots. One tough, that it's the 29. reboot and wrote that "check forced on NEXT reboot". But (maybe?) an other script made a check on this startup, after the text above. Next time, it said, that the file system haven't check for 30 reboot, check forced, and it checked (again). ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- FSCK run twice https://launchpad.net/bugs/66316 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
