[Bug 1634220] Re: Wallpaper does not resize correctly when adding external display
It looks like it is related to the positions of the two displays to each other. I normally like the internal display to be below the external one. By default it tries to layout the display next to each other. When adding the external display I can see the wallpaper twice on the external display. On the left the small one that should probably be shown on the internal display and on the right side the large one that should normally be used for the external display. After a few moments the large one is shown on the exeternal display and the internal display has a black background. When I switch to the virtual desktop on the right side I do see the small wallpaper in the top left corner surrounded by the flickering. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1634220 Title: Wallpaper does not resize correctly when adding external display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1634220/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1634220] [NEW] Wallpaper does not resize correctly when adding external display
Public bug reported: When I add a second (external) display to my laptop (Dell Latitude) the wallpaper/background is not resized correctly. 1. just an internal display with a resolution of 1366x768 2. adding an external display with a full HD resolution Adding the external display results in - the wallper is shown in the upper left corner of the external display (probably with the resolution of the internal display. - The rest of the screen is filled with random segments of windows that have been shown at these positions before - the internal display does not show any wallpaper (completely black) Additionally it looks like the left side panels (one for internal and one for external) are drawn over each other on the external display. [Bug 929415] [NEW] Wrong quoting in session script of gconf
Public bug reported: I've updated to 12.04 and after that I could start my xubuntu session anymore in ~/.xsession-errors I found an error (lost the error message). Something about an invalid variable name. [Bug 846878] Re: empty space between time applet and nm-applet
This bug is so annoying that I moved from lubuntu to xubuntu. :-( I've used lubuntu on my netbook that I suspend once or twice a day so this happens quite often for me. I've tried to fix the problem bei restarting xfce-power-manager but that just reduced the empty space in the panel but it did not disapear completely. I'm not sure what other applet causes this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/846878 Title: empty space between time applet and nm-applet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lxde/+bug/846878/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 753820] Re: "Disconnected __ no reason specified" when loggin into GTalk/Jabber account
This affects me too currently. I've updated my system to 11.04 several weeks ago. After that I had no problems with Jabber. The problems started a few days ago. I've tried empathy (3.2.0.1-0ubuntu1.1) and pidgin (1:2.10.0-0ubuntu2). Both with the same error. I've activated the oneiric-proposed repository on my system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/753820 Title: "Disconnected __ no reason specified" when loggin into GTalk/Jabber account To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/753820/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
