[Bug 1240686] Re: Upstart overrides the user's umask

[Bug 532633] Re: [light-theme] please revert the order of the window controls back to "menu:minimize, maximize, close"
The biggest issue with this left/right positioniong is consistency. Other applications have already be mentioned. But there is also Ubuntu Netbook Remix. When one maximizes a window, the close button is on the right hand side again. That's very confusing. So, if the controls are to remain on the left, then the UNR titlebar in the panel has to be changed as well, to have its close button on the left side (and maybe the unmaximize and minimize buttons should be added, and the look should be adjusted to that of the theme). -- [light-theme] please revert the order of the window controls back to "menu:minimize, maximize, close" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/532633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 296175] Re: package miro None failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/applications/miro.desktop', which is also in package miro-data
I get this error with current Jaunty 9.04 and Miro 2.0.1 Commit failed. To continue, hit ok and we will try to recover. If you close the application now, we will not do anything and you may try to resolve the problem manually. (If you suspect this is a bug in Adept, please also provide the following exception description in the report). The error was: APT Error. Context: Running dpkg, [ /usr/bin/dpkg, --status-fd, 3, --unpack, /var/cache/apt/archives/miro_2.0.1-1_amd64.deb ], Sup-process returned error code 1, Error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/miro_2.0.1-1_amd64.deb : Versuche, »/usr/share/applications/miro.desktop« zu überschreiben, welches auch in Paket miro-data ist. [Bug 326344] Re: compiz/kwin freezes on login as of xorg-server 1.5.99.902-0ubuntu2
I was trying to apply the workaround for kde, but i always got the error "Failed to activate desktop effects". Here is what i did, to get this working: 1. Turn on "Enable desktop effects" 2. Switch to page "Advanced" 3. Turn off "Enable direct rendering" 4. Switch back to page "General" 5. "Enable desktop effects" is turned off, so turn on "Enable desktop effects" again 6. Press "Apply" -- compiz/kwin freezes on login as of xorg-server 1.5.99.902-0ubuntu2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/326344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
