[Bug 1576957] Re: apcupsd alerts on every boot: Communications with UPS lost
I also get the "Communications with UPS 1 lost" message, but no restoration message (I think). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576957 Title: apcupsd alerts on every boot: Communications with UPS lost To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apcupsd/+bug/1576957/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1715271] Re: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work
Sure, I might have time for that within the next week or next few weeks at least, but not right now. I know I can fix it if I put in some effort. I'm mostly annoyed that there are broken stuff in the stable kernel. It seems like I'm not the only one with this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/LinuxOnThinkpads/comments/6ydvly/did_your_middle_mouse_button_just_stop_working/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1715271 Title: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1715271/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1715271] Re: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work
To be honest I don't know. I'm on Arch Linux, and found that when upgrading to 4.12.10 the middle mouse button on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen5 stopped working. I looked into [the changelog](https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.12.10) and found your patch which I naively assumed to be the cause of my newfound issue. I'm currently on 4.12.10-1-ARCH, but I don't know from the top of my head to double check exactly what's included there. If you can't tell from only the version number, please let me know and I'll have to figure that out some time next week. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1715271 Title: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1715271/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1715271] Re: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work
I don't get it. Is this patch supposed to make things better? It just made my button *not work*. Is there a patch for the patch on the way, or do I need to rollback and recompile things in order to get rid of your patch? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1715271 Title: Middle button of trackpoint doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1715271/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1357093] Re: Kernels not autoremoving, causing out of space error on LVM or Encrypted installation or on any installation, when /boot partition gets full
I'm completely with Dave on this one. Regarding jarnos comment #110: > I see many people take time to complain, but I see none who is willing to spend even 1$ to get an easier solution for poor Ubuntu users. Is funding the problem here? Because if it is, please tell us. I'm sure we can at least gather some funds, since this is such a prevalent issue that clearly stirs a lot of people into motion. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1357093 Title: Kernels not autoremoving, causing out of space error on LVM or Encrypted installation or on any installation, when /boot partition gets full To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unattended-upgrades/+bug/1357093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I hate to be that guy that complains without contributing in a constructive manner, but I just need to say that it's completely unreasonable that my mom and friends I recommend Ubuntu to gets this problem.
