[Bug 523425] [NEW] Please merge apgdiff 1.4 from debian testing

2010-02-17 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apgdiff

 apgdiff (1.4-1ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low
 .
   * Merge from debian testing. Remaining changes:
 - debian/control: Change the runtime dependency from gij to
   default-jre-headless.
 .
 apgdiff (1.4-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream version. (Without changelog, I am afraid.)
   * Test suite still not enabled as it needs network access. (The junit
 version in Debian needs upgrading.)
   * Optimize rules files a bit so debhelper doesn't clean twice, and quilt's
patch target doesn't prevent build-stamp from working.
 .
 apgdiff (1.3-3) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Build-Depend on default-jdk. (Closes: #543055)
   * Use Section: database.
   * Thanks to Michael Koch for packaging tips.
 .
 apgdiff (1.3-2) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Add asciidoc to Build-Depends. (Closes: #533919)
   * Also fix warnings about deprecated glossary syntax in apgdiff.1.txt, and
add libxml2-utils to Build-Depends. By Andres Rodriguez.
 (Closes: #534395)

[Bug 523423] [NEW] Please merge usbmount 0.0.19.1 from debian testing

2010-02-17 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: usbmount

 usbmount (0.0.19.1ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low
 .
   * Merge from debian testing. Remaining changes:
 - debian/rules: Copy udev rules so debhelper picks it up
 - debian/install: Do not install by hand
 - debian/preinst: Remove symlink on upgrade, and remove old rules file
unless modified in which case rename to new filename.
 - debian/postinst: Do not create symlink
 - debian/postrm: No symlink to remove
 - Bump build-depend on debhelper to install udev rules into
/lib/udev/rules.d, bump dependency on udev to get correct version.
 .
 usbmount (0.0.19.1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * The "Oh, oh, oh" release.
   * Hotfix a bug discovered by Gregor Herrmann. Closes: #562496.
   * Change space character classes to blank, as suggested by Cristian
 Ionescu-Idbohrn.
 .
 usbmount (0.0.19) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * The "Ho, Ho, Ho" release.
   * new strategy in usbmount, potentially less complicated.
   * usbmount:
 + simplify the usbmount script.
 + strive for legibility.
 + avoid use of awk.
+ make fewer calls to blkid.
+ various code cleanups (Many, many thanks to Cristian Ionescu-Idbohrn).
 + log unexpected actions.
 + removes unecessary delay.
 + much more to come.
   * include dependency on util-linux (>> 2.16).
   * include recommends on pmount.

Lasse,

I've keepalived 1.1.17-2 available in my PPA. Could you please test a
keepalived/ipvsadm nat config and see if it works. If it does, please
let me know, and could you please post the config (including nat,
iptables if used), since I cannot seem to make the nat work.

Thank you.

Add the ppa: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:andreser/ha
And then update keepalived.

[Bug 496932] Re: Keepalived haven't LVS support

2009-12-17 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Hi Geordi.

This is indeed a bug in the configure.in file of the package. However,
this bug has already been fixed in Debian version 1.1.17-2 (In karmic we
have 1.1.17-1ubuntu1). To get this fixed in Karmic we'll have to
backport keepalived 1.1.17-2 into Karmic, from Lucid. However,
keepalived 1.1.17-2 is not in Lucid yet. This is because I'm personally
waiting for Debian to see if they update to a newer upstream release.

If they don't, I'll personally be requesting the merge and the backport
into karmic to fix this bug.

Cheers,

Andres.

Hi there!

I believe that we will have to backport usbmount 0.0.18 into karmic so
that this bug gets fixed as well as to fix the data loss discussed in
the other bug. I'll assign thsi bug to me.

[Bug 418296] Re: Please merge usbmount 0.0.18 (universe) from Debian (testing)

2009-12-03 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Hi Rogério,

Sorry for the delay in responding to you.

Yes, karmic does not have vol_id indeed, that's a very good reason to do
a backport of 0.0.18 into karmic. I'll personally work on this within
the next 2 weeks.

On the other hand, next to the end of the title, there's a little yellow
circle. Clic on it to change the title :).

Now (I do have upload rights to Universe components), If the packages
that you've made QA of do not have an Ubuntu Delta, this will be synced
automatically into lucid (if they are in Debian Testing of course). If
they contain an Ubuntu Delta, I'll try to track them down and make the
merges.

Our Delta for usbmount is in how usbmount.rules is installed. I believe
that this is a difference between Debian and Ubuntu. I'll attacht the
diff for you to take a look a it if you want.

Thanks a lot!

[Bug 491536] [NEW] Please merge setools 3.3.6.ds-6 (universe) from debian testing (main)

2009-12-02 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: setools

 setools (3.3.6.ds-6) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * [9025371]: topic--qpol-include-list-fix: Added missing \ in Makefile
The missing \ truncated the list of files to be installed in
 /usr/include/qpol
Bug fix: "qpol/policy.h: No such file or directory", thanks to Pierre
 Chifflier (Closes: #545964).
 .
 setools (3.3.6.ds-5) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * We really do need distinct symbols files for all the architectures,
thanks to va_list; so, with 13 architectures, and 5 libraries, those
are an added 65 files. However, this should fix the issue that setools
failed to build on every single buildd out there.
 .
 setools (3.3.6.ds-4) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * First cut at providing symbols files.
   * Check for extra libraries and shlib version numbers. Unless there is
a nocheck option in the deb build options variable, now we look to see
if there are extra libraries we have linked to.
 .
 setools (3.3.6.ds-3) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * On reflection (and in discussion on IRC), it dawned on me that the
issues in the bug report might be related to the jobserver not being
enabled when building in parallel. This version should be friendlier
 to the jobserver.
Bug fix: "FTBFS: dpkg-gencontrol: error: install new files list file:
No such file or directory", thanks to Lucas Nussbaum
 (Closes: #543004).
 .
 setools (3.3.6.ds-2) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * [ed1be40]: [topic--pointer-conversion]: Missing function prototypes
Missing function prototypes are likely to cause setools to segfault on
architectures where the size of a pointer is greater than the size
of an integer, such as ia64 and amd64. This patch adds the
prototypes, and the doxygen comments to the header file.
Bug fix: "implicit pointer conversions", thanks to dann frazier
   (Closes: #541862).
 .
 setools (3.3.6.ds-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release
+ Change default log for seaudit to /var/log/audit/audit.log.
+ Change context parsing in libseaudit to use libselinux functions.
+ Add support for display of level and clearance of contexts to seaudit.
+ Add support for filterting by level and clearance to seaudit.
+ Modified seaudit to show the raw audit message when doubleclicking
  an entry.
+ Add libqpol and libapol support for policy capabilities and
  permissive domains.
+ Add policy capabilities and permissive domains querying to seinfo.
+ Add support for using attribute names available in version 24
  binary policies.
+ Fixed error in qpol_policy_rebuild_opt() where a policy's
neverallow rules are expanded when the rebuild option is
  QPOL_POLICY_OPTION_NO_RULES.
 .
 setools (3.3.5.ds-6) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * [437e101]: [debiandir] Remove autogenerated files during the clean
 process
   * [a5fadee]:[autotools-cleanup] Remove aitogenerated files from git
This commit removes files that are generated by autoreconf.
   * [140f035]: Updated build dependencies to combat FTBS.
   * Bug fix: "FTBFS: policy_define.c:134: undefined reference to
`expand_rule'", thanks to Lucas Nussbaum (Closes: #527730).

[Bug 471765] [NEW] Karmic: Desktop Host machine sound dies when guest is running sound

2009-11-02 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kvm

Using: Karmic amd64

When running a Karmic Desktop Guest in a Karmic Desktop Host using KVM,
sound in the host dies.

Explained problem:

In a karmic Desktop amd64 host machine I installed a Karmic 32bit Guest.
When GDM starts (in the guest machine), it reproduces the sound it's
suppose to reproduce when Ubuntu is first loaded. Then, I try to play a
song in the Host machine (while the guest is running) but it gets stuck
and won't reproduce the song (using rythmbox). Once I power off the
guest machine, I can reproduce the song.

(I'll try to make a video showing this behaviour).

[Bug 447107] Re: rlog 1.3.7-1.2 FTBFS (const char*)

2009-10-09 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Hello! Your debdiff is good however it is not necessary to add a source
section in debian/control (not for Ubuntu). Please, attach a new debdiff
without that change. However, I would recommend you to forward that
change to Debian (where is relevant) as well as the FTBFS fix.

I'm unsubscribing from u-u-s for now. Please re-subscribe when ready.

I was wondering why were you adding libc6-dev and g++ to Build-Depends,
since in my tests they are not necessary to build the package (tested on

[Bug 422110] Re: stickynotes_applet crashed with SIGSEGV

2009-09-02 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Hey guys.

I've managed to get the stickynotes applet icon added to the bar,
however it fails to add new notes. The way I've managed to add it was by
removing the previously created $HOME/.gnome2/stickynotes_applet file.
After it has been removed, I added the applet and the icon was shown
there and no error displayed. However, when trying to add a new note,
the error was showed again.

I did the following and got the attached output (the output was given to me
when trying to add a new note):
- I installed the gnome-applet-dbg package.
- remove all the instances of the sticky notes on the panel.
- run gdb as: gdb /usr/lib/gnome-applets/stickynotes_applet
- execute run inside gdb
- right click on the panel and add the sticky notes applet to the panel
- right click on the sticky notes applet, and add a new note.

Hope this helps. Btw Pedro, if you have time to show me how to fix this,
let me know since I would love to learn. Cheers.

[Bug 421312] Re: Search and Replace dialog shows buttons with underscore instead of underline

2009-08-31 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Hello guys,

According to documentation in http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-
gtkbutton.html#constructor-gtkbutton :

"Creates a new button widget with the content depending on the parameters:
label, stock and use_underline. The default values for stock and label are None
and, in PyGTK 2.4 and above, use_underline is available and defaults to True.
[..]
If label is specified the "label" property will be set with the text of the
label, the "use_underline" property will be set to True and any characters that
are preceded by an underscore are underlined [...] In PyGTK 2.4 and above the
"use-underline" property can be set by using the optional use_underline
parameter."

I'm not a python nor gtk developer, but for what I understand from the
documentation, default should be to set the underline instead of
underscore, so this might be indeed a bug in pygtk. Anyways, I'm
attaching another debdiff which includes a better patch setting the
optional use_underline parameter instead of using the
"set_use_underline" function.

Cheers,

Andres.

[Bug 421312] [NEW] Search and Replace dialog shows buttons with underscore instead of underline

2009-08-29 Thread Andres E. Rodriguez Lazo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gobby

In the "Search and Replace" dialog there are a couple of buttons showing
an underscore instead of a underline, which also breaks the accelerator.
I'm attaching and image which shows this.
