Public bug reported: When launched from the command line, I simply get "Illegal instruction" after a few seconds. WW! alx (iamalx) hit the nail in the head for me. My wireless mouse had been having this random issue ever since Ubuntu 10.04 (now on Linux 13 Maya) running 3.20.0-36 and xserver-xorg 1:7.6+12ubuntu2 I have a Logitech MX100 wireless mouse.
