[Bug 1377859] Re: nvidia-331 331.89-0ubuntu5: nvidia-331 kernel module failed to build

2014-10-06 Thread Andrew Austin
I also ran into this bug today.

Unfortunately, trying to switch to free drivers and I hit this other bug
too: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-
drivers-331/+bug/1369398.

I'm currently stuck between bugs on my system :(

2014-09-21 Thread Andrew Austin
This bug was marked private by default. I've moved it to public because
at quick glance I don't see any personal information in the files or
logs uploaded. Please let me know if this is not the case and it really
should be private. =)

[Bug 938448] Re: On multi-monitor, mouse gets stuck in the middle, especially going right to left

2012-03-04 Thread Andrew Austin
I also ran into this bug tonight.

One workaround is the Launcher Edge Stop Overcome Pressure setting.
You can set this number lower by installing CompizConfig setting manager
. You can't set this to 0, unfortunately, but setting it to 1 did make a
noticable difference to me. Directions for finding this setting can be
found here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/109338/how-do-i-disable-
mouse-magnet-on-middle-edge-with-multi-monitors

Another setting that looks promising is the setting called Edge Stop
Velocity.
