[Bug 1710023] Re: 4.10.0-30-generic...sdhci_pci driver does not detect microSDXC while 4.8.0-36-generic works with same hardware
FYI: I tried using my SD card again after a fresh install of Ubuntu 19.04 (kernel 5.0.0-13-generic) and my SD card (SD Host controller: O2 Micro, Inc. SD/MMC Card Reader Controller (rev 01)) now works properly. [Bug 1670892] [NEW] mouse pointer sticks when moved to the left edge of the sidebar
Public bug reported: 1. output of "lsb_release -rd": Description:Ubuntu 16.10 Release:16.10 2. output of "apt-cache policy unity": unity: Installed: 7.5.0+16.10.20161112-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 7.5.0+16.10.20161112-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 7.5.0+16.10.20161112-0ubuntu1 500 500 http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/ubuntu yakkety-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 7.5.0+16.10.20160906.1-0ubuntu1 500 500 http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/ubuntu yakkety/main amd64 Packages 3. what I expected to happen The mouse pointer to appear at all points on the screens when moved there. 4. what happened instead 4.1 When I move my mouse pointer to the far left of the sidebar, it stops and sticks inline with the left edge of the icons; this occurs even when moving the cursor to a part of the sidebar that is empty (i.e. no icons). When this occurs (i.e. when the pointer sticks), if I move my mouse up or down, the names of the other icons/programs flash up as they usually do when you hover over them, as if the pointer is moving even though it is still stuck. And if I do this, moving the mouse up some distance, then move it right slightly, the pointer reappears up where it should have been (given the names it has been flashing up). 4.2 I used kazam (in the repositories) to make a video of the behaviour. It is included. Strangely, though, in the video the pointer follows what I expected to happen. What I was seeing on the screen was as described above. 5. other information Previously, I changed settings using unity tweak. I do not know whether the problem started before or after I did that. I ran the command "unity-tweak-tool --reset-unity" successfully and the problem remained.
