[Bug 1030663] [NEW] No restat/reboot after installing Ubuntu12.04
Public bug reported: I have installed Ubuntu 12.o4 onto an Acer Aspire one happy 2 but for some stupid reason it will not restart both after installing Ubuntu and after either installing programs or installing updates I have to physically turn off then re boot. Does any one have any idea what is happening? the computer had two OS windows 7 starter and android, when Ubuntu was installed both of these OS were removed. I have used Ubuntu in the past and found it very good but not sure what is the problem here. I installed from a USB stick don't have a cd. Public bug reported: Since installing Ubuntu 18.10 on my system which previously had windows 10 I now get an intermittent stutter or hiccup for want of a better word. It happens in Firefox Quantum and Chrome/Chromium I have tried a number of fixes from you tube and various forums, but it still happens and I'm at my wits end as it is so random.
