[Bug 1040752] Re: No tray icon in gnome3 (classic too)
I had that behaviour when using the 0.8-series version in the repo's. The notification was was there, but there was no icon, so only when I directly clicked on it would it appear. I uninstalled that, downloaded the 0.9-series from backports and did a dpkg -i on the .deb file after logging out and back in, I now have the little sparkleshare icon, including the spinner when items are syncing. I still do not, however have the Nautilus integration even though the plugin is present at /usr/share/nautilus-python/extensions/sparkleshare- nautilus3-extension.py Launching nautilus from a terminal window shows the dropbox plugin loading, but not the sparkleshare one. [Bug 1040752] Re: No tray icon in gnome3 (classic too)
And after a fresh restart, I now also have the Context-menu item for sparkleshare. (and have had one sparkleshare fatal unhandled exception). So it seems to be working for me now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1040752 Title: No tray icon in gnome3 (classic too) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sparkleshare/+bug/1040752/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
