[Bug 1241632] Re: LDAP support auth not working

2013-10-23 Thread Andrew Snare
The upstream fix was included in ejabberd 2.1.12, and really quite
small:
https://github.com/processone/ejabberd/commit/2704378d43035474c5f3d8a656b81c7bc28b5ff9

If it proves too difficult to package the newer release, it should be
fairly simple to apply the same fix to the 2.1.10 release.

I've installed the jaunty PPA packages; no problems installing, nor with
the basics (update, diff, status, commit).

[Bug 187570] Re: Sun Java 6 package should be updated to 6u4

2009-06-03 Thread Andrew Snare
Bug 382918 covers updating to 6u14. That doesn't include any security
fixes above 6u13, but if that bug is resolved then this bug may be as
well.

[Bug 317564] Re: Upgrade to Subversion 1.6.x for Karmic

2009-05-27 Thread Andrew Snare
** Summary changed:

- Upgrade to Subversion 1.6.x for Jaunty 9.04
+ Upgrade to Subversion 1.6.x for Karmic

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: subversion

Subversion 1.5.5 is a minor bug fix release. It is already in Debian
experimental - can it please be included in Jaunty?

  http://packages.debian.org/experimental/subversion

  http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/tags/1.5.5/CHANGES

  Thanks!

Bug description is outdated, now the current Version is 1.6.2 with a new
repo and wc format an much better performance and lots of bugfixes
(grizzly)! Please provide a way to at least _choose_ what subversion to
install (such as the old apache 1.3 vs. 2.x series decision was possible
a long time in most distros and may be still)
+
+ (Bug description originally requested inclusion in Jaunty, which has
+ shipped.)

[Bug 367250] [NEW] screen wrapper ignores $SCREENRC

2009-04-26 Thread Andrew Snare
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: screen-profiles

GNU screen normally allows a user to specify their configuration file
via the $SCREENRC environment variable. If this is not set,
$HOME/.screenrc is used.

The screen-profiles packages installs (via a redirect) a wrapper script.
Unfortunately it both ignores $SCREENRC and forces the configuration
file to be $HOME/.screenrc.

A workaround if anyone encounters this problem is to uninstall the
screen-profiles package; it is recommended by the screen package, not
required.

A patch which fixes the problem in screen-profiles is attached.

System information:

% lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 9.04
Release:9.04
% apt-cache policy screen-profiles
screen-profiles:
