This is an issue in the lubuntu-artwork 21.10.1 package in Ubuntu 21.10.
The source package is lubuntu-artwork.
The lubuntu-default-wallpaper.png wallpaper has transparent pixels in
its last column. When the image is used as a desktop wallpaper, the
transparent pixels appear as a white line at the rightmost side of the
desktop.
