[Bug 1790454] Re: Bluetooth (btintel) stops working after suspend/resume

Same issue here.

Adding this to options + cold boot seems to have fixed it.

I was an IT expert in the time of NOS, CP/P and PCDOS and would love to
learn more about UBUNTU. I will have to start from scratch and would
appreciate suggestions.

My first problem: Disk layout ...

Thank you again

No programming needed. Open up the Update Manager, and click on the
Settings... button bottom left; this opens up the Software Sources
window. Click on the Updates tab, and then check off the box next to
where it says Pre-released updates (oneiric-proposed). Close the
software sources window, and click on the Check button in update manager
to reload the software info. It should then ask you to update the
sudoku program to the latest version with the fix.

[Bug 831791] [NEW] Function 'Send to' resize pictures to /tmp with % instead of space

2011-08-23 Thread Andries Filmer
Public bug reported:

When you right click on a picture and choose 'Send to' you get the option to
'Scale contraint'.
Choose 'width' -> (for example) 800
Next step fill in a emailaddress (no compresssion!) and click send (By the way,
a better name for the button will be 'Next').

We get a email with the attachment: Holes%20by%20FireCobold.jpg
In '/tmp/shotwell/6084/Holes by FireCobold.jpg' we have a resized picture (with
spaces in the file name)

If we click 'Send' we get a error: Can't find attachement!

My fix for this was to remove firefox + xulrunner completely, re-

This fix the problem for me. Probably not the best solution (i'm without

[Bug 484037] [NEW] mouse click sometimes ignored by dialog buttons..

2009-11-16 Thread Andries
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse

sometimes karmic (64bit) ignores all mouse clicks on dialog buttons. The
buttons "light" up indicating a click event, but nothing happens.
Accessing the same button through the keyboard seems to work. I never
had any such problem on any other distro of linux, or even the previous
32bit version of ubuntu.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-mouse (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 196370] Re: file transfer with MSN is very slow and frequently does not compleate

2008-08-12 Thread Andries
I don't mind if they fix this in KDE 4. Just that this fix should also
be back-ported to KDE 3.5. I don't see me using KDE 4 soon (not until it
actually becomes stable, and usefull). Wonder if this "bug" has been
solved in Pidgin. It may be time to ditch Kopete if this is the case.
