[Bug 2057785] [NEW] Mute/mic LEDs no function on some HP EliteBook
Public bug reported: [Impact] The mic mute/audio mute LEDS are not work on HP EliteBook [Fix] It needs the specific quirk for the hardware layout. Thus, add the quirks to make it works. [Test] After applying the quirk, the audio/mic mute LEDs are working good. [Where problems could occur] If HP ships the different system boards design with the same subsystem ID of audio codec which is using different GPIO pins (different layout), then the quirk will not work (LEDs will not work when muting audio-output or microphone). ** Affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) Status: Confirmed ** Affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Medium Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) Status: Confirmed ** Affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Mantic) Importance: Medium Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) Status: Won't Fix ** Affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Medium Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) Status: Won't Fix ** Also affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium => Undecided ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => New ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andy Chi (andch) ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Medium Assignee: Andy Chi (andch) Status: Confirmed ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Mantic) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Mantic) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: linux (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Noble) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Mantic) Status: New => Won't Fix ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Jammy) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Mantic) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Jammy) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andy Chi (andch) ** Changed in: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu Mantic) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andy Chi (andch) ** No longer affects: linux (Ubuntu Jammy) ** No longer affects: linux (Ubuntu Mantic) ** No longer affects: linux (Ubuntu Noble) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2057785 Title: Mute/mic LEDs no function on some HP EliteBook To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.5/+bug/2057785/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1970552] [NEW] Mute/mic LEDs no function on EliteBook G9 platfroms
Public bug reported: [Impact] The mic mute/audio mute LEDS are not work on 1) HP EliteBook x360 830 G9 2) HP EliteBook 830 G9 3) HP EliteBook 840 G9 4) HP EliteBook 860 G9 5) HP EliteBook 840 Aero G9 6) HP EliteBook x360 840 Aero G9 [Fix] It needs the specific quirk for the hardware layout. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1970552 Title: Mute/mic LEDs no function on EliteBook G9 platfroms To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1970552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
